Former Vice President and presidential aspirant, All Progressive Congress, Atiku Abubakar, said all presidential aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are far better than the president.

Atiku made this statement, yesterday at the public declaration of the founder of Leadership newspaper, Sam Nda-Isaiah for the presidential race in Minna, Niger State, stressing that whoever wins the party primary is better than President Jonathan,” Mr. Abubakar said

He described Mr. Nda-Isaiah as a “personal friend,” the former vice president, who is also a presidential aspirant on the APC ticket, disclosed that he and the other four aspirants had agreed to back whoever emerges as the flag bearer during the primary election in other to terminate the Jonathan administration.

He added, “We are united. We have resolved to support whoever emerges.

We are not fighting each other, that is why I am here today. Our target is to rescue the country from the misrule of the PDP.”

Mr. Abubakar lamented the state of the nation under the PDP, saying that it had been grounded to a halt.

He said, “It is a known fact that we don’t have functioning hospitals, no good schools for our children, no electricity and no good road, that is why we must change the PDP government and rescue the country from further harm”.

He asked the APC faithful, particularly those vying for elective positions to return to their wards and constituencies to engender change.
