News reaching my desk from a reliable source say's there is an on going protest in warri,over the ban of kpomo meat,market women and traders are protesting,however due to this protest,major roads has been blocked,police has severally fired gun into the air to scare pple away,but no avail.

Are they against its consumption because it's dangerous to health or because farmers need to make some dollars from hides and skins?

they are against the consumption coz it's dangerous and they need to improve our leather industry...due to comsumption,the price of hides and skin is very high,making it difficult for local branded goods be produced.

so, if I want to eat kpomo now, I shld just buy a cheap leather and cook it abi?

Why dnt they ban exportation of garri so as make the local consumption ration cheap to buy?

Instead of them to encourage livestock farming, they're banning kpomo.

Absolute rubbish. This government is just trying 2 do all it can to frustrate the masses. Wetin concern dem wit my consumption of kpomo abi no b my money i take buy am? Or r d traders complaining?
