Dia lots of differences between quality brands.
Sony still remains d best in Picture quality cos advance Sony tv has something called reality pro engine dat sharpens d image quality of display pictures.
D engine converts SD to HD.
Ppl shud have a second thought when they are considering buyin cheap brands, they are cheap, less quality in terms of image.........beware

Yea, but those sony types you are saying will be very expensive.... I think any expensive TV will have high end spec.....that's part of what makes it expensive....... I saw an LG at shoprite 20lb455an and its picture quality is superb! I was surprised how a small TV could be so kool, its 20inch and 22k in a shop at shoprite as at last week....but I saw some polystar and its color is nothing compared to that little LG... Although there spec online was almost thesame.. So it got me really wondering.. The polystar is 24"

u are one of those suffering from inferiority complex. so to u LG and Samsung are the one who produce better tvs? the LG home theatre I bought from their office in Lagos after 6months it stopped producing sound I took it back to their office they said it's the sound ic but they couldn't change it because according to them that model is know to give that issue and they knew about it but kept selling it to the public and again they don't have the ic. I bought polystar home theatre September 2012 and up till now it has bn rock solid no complaints or anything. as for the tv it's not about bn to expensive cos I have LG and my friends use LG too but they were all wowed with my polystar. a guy in my lodge is using LG Led tv but he can't view it from all angle but mine I can view it from all angry be it standing by the side or laying down I see everything clearly more than my neighbour LG. u guys think buying something at 100k means those who bought another one of 50k are poor or broke people. smh.

op like I said if u are in Lagos just go to their showroom and see for ur self, u will see the ones better than that LG u talking about cos they have different varieties and if u are not wowed comeback here and tell me

See this one. I clearly wanted to compare the picture quality of these brands... Cheap doesn't necessarily mean bad quality.. The 20inch LG I was talking about is cheap but looks high quality..

@djdamian, how many inch own did u buy? And where did you buy yours? Its cheaper on jumia than anywhere else oo...

I bought hisense. Nice picture quality but the remote is nothing to write home about.. very poor design n look like 1860 remotes. Something else I noticed is that when u reduce all the picture quality ( colour contrast, sharp etc) it will only apply to d source which u are using to send images to d screen. e.g DVD or cable TV. Once u put them off, d brightness n everything returns. There are other things that make it unacceptable to be. Just that I didn't do any research before buying. Funny enuf, I bought it d same amount they sell LG n Samsung of the same size(32) n picture quality (LED) . I was wowed by the sleek design n d picture quality. Twas until I got home I noticed all these shiitt.

Samsung is overhyped, Sony/lg still remain the best.

Advice: Always buy from accredited distributors

@op sony is still d best anytime any day in terms of quality and reliability bt very expensive. Lg is equally very good like jazz04 make sure u re buying from acredited dealer and they are quite cheap. I just acquire a 32in LN570 smart for 56k @fuani PHC on wenesday. It has 3 usb and HDMI each with some free satelite channels. I initially paid 70k for d 32in free to air satelite smart tv bt had to change my mind because it does not hav d magic remote. So blieve me u can get an LG led tv for as low as 45k. Mind u I never liked lg products cos I belived they re mass produced and there are lots of fake LG eletronics u will never find @ d dealers shop.

Mine is LG LED, I bought it last year@55k, DE Crown Electronics, Iremo area in Ile-Ife and I've been enjoying it, no complaints and no fault for just a sec, nice colour and I can watch from any angle of my room. I can recommend this type.

32 inches and it's better than my friend's Samsung, which got burnt when we had the same current passed through them, but mine still works. I really like it.
