Download free ftp client like filezilla or smartftp. it will help you out. I am more familiar with simple machines software though |

I do not know which control panel you, as Domain Owner Login, use Plesk, cPanel, H-sphere, or other Content Management System (CMS) control panel on your registered hosting site. The majority of Nigerian Domain Owners both (in USA, UK and/or Nigeria) access cPanel-based hosting sites the most i noticed. 1. go to your cpanel admin 2. scroll down finding the section of the software/services to click the icon: "Fantastico". 3. Fantastico windows, you will see the forum category on the left side column of the navigation area you select "PHPBB" to be installed automatically for you. (it means install PHPBB under Fantastico for you instead of google finding PHPBB site for download it) It is easy than google it. 4. During the PHPBB installation phrase, it will ask you to fill in the blank the following questions step by step. 5. You should get the finalized installation PHPBB saying, "Congratuation, PHPBB has been installed on your hosting" and then close the Fantastico return to Cpanel in order to log off your Cpanel. It will tell you where to link opening PHPBB on your desired URL address. Good luck! |
