Its very easy, connect ur U.S.B cable into ur phone and T.V respectivly. On ur T.v remote press source and select USB; a prompt will appears on ur phone, select "Mass storage" pick ur T.v remote and locate the video folder and press play.

Look for "Input or source" on ur T.v remote, press it and select USB, the prompt shld appear on ur phone, then select "Mass storage" then......... As I said earlier.

yes of cos, dat's wat I did and notin appears on ma fone

after selecting USB wit d remote, it displays "no storage units are available" on d TV.

I doubt the blackberry Q5 have MHL support, thus you wont be able to use a cable to extend your phone display to your TV.

To watch the videos on phone on a TV display, it requires a Cast Device, popularly know as a TV stick or Miracast Dongle. It is used to Mirror your phone screen to a HDTV.

There are several types of TV stick that are a available on sale, from #5,000 upward.

EzCast

etc.

I even went a step further, I don't Need to even download videos to my phones. with WiFi....I download an app that streams video online on my phone and it plays directly to my TV. the reason I don't stream directly on Tv is cos TV isn't using Android so I stream on phone and play on Tv via Bluetooth. And guess what I have 10 smart TVs in all the rooms and I have Bluetooth dock systems in every room. I stream audios and videos on my phone and connects to all the sets and it's disco . music plays in all rooms from my phone via Bluetooth
