On twitter, a Sabiu Haliru tweeted Ptdf saying she had been contacted via mail indicating that she had passed the MsC lss exam. I believe they have begun contacting people.

In my opinion PTDF is trying to optimize the what it has , instead of sponsoring 1scholar to study in UK with high tuition fees they opt to sponsor 5 to 10 scholar in countries with free tuition fee for international students.
And in the other hand, we have Been complaining about our state of education and our institution in Nigeria, so instead of taking the huge money abroad they choose the option of spending in country through LSS thereby improving the institutions and it's infrastructure.
And the delay might be due the pairing of the courses you filled in while applying for PTDF and the relevant institution that offered those courses.

I do not believe someone could just sit down and do nothing just because he wants you missed September intake.

the responses from PTDF on twitter were empty words to kill d twitter campaign. Kh001 came to completely kill it, so i suggest we get back to d original plan, pressuring them.

The communication everyone received on twitter said they were aware programs would soon commence in the various universities we applied to. Why haven't we still heard anything from them? Isn't PTDF aware programs have started in universities? We are in September already and still do not know whether to defer, withdraw or honor the admissions we have been offered. What is going on? I contacted a flexisaf official and he claims that he doesn't know the reason for the delay, only that they do what PTDF instructs them to do. I would appreciate any good suggestions on this topic. Where do we go from here?

lol.. well, i can't say. Not every PTDF staff has legit info about d list. As at Monday wen he first spoke on behalf of PTDF, he wasn't even aware that the LSS scholars were gonna be contacted d following day, he just said Friday. He was probably just talking based on wot he heard

We wish the 2017/2018 LSS scholars success in their studies. The successful OSS scholars will be contacted tomorrow. All successfuls should fill the form provided honestly and correctly so we can act and plan accordingly.

It is unfortunate I will deactivate my account now. Some of you had complained to PTDF that a staff is on nairaland passing out information. While they were happy, it is not professional as it is the duty of the public department to do that. To hide my personality and my account to be known, I will deactivate my account now.

I just felt I should give information as Nairaland has helped me a lot during my struggles. You don't need to refer me as Sir. I am just like you opportuned to get PTDF job. I hope an official PTDF account will be agreed by management as Npower is here on nairaland.

Before I leave, I will like to thank DMainMan, Dremanuel, madridsta, usqoh, Dennisekendrick, Ellacity, DXXM and many more for all their contributions. Your input has helped the education department as regards the exam flaws which we took into account when shortlisting the successfuls which on the other side delayed the shortlisting process.

d point is dat PTDF ddnt pass d info officially, so they ddnt apologise. d guy jst did it on his own accord. Doesn't change d fact that their tweets were empty words. let's not disturb nddc thread wit PTDF. Bless you too

If PTDF is still being castigated (not that I'm praising them) after tweeting and later contacting those for the LSS, then NDDC deserves worse.
To be candid, for UK, the Oxbridge unis, Russell group of schools and other highly ranked schools don't have January intakes. If scholarships are to be awarded, then a timeline must be set and strictly adhered to.
I wouldn't want to leave for any much room school. NDDC should just do the right thing.

u ddnt praise dem? but u were sounding like they suddenly became efficient after they replied on twitter (which was approx. 2 weeks ago). Besides, it's not right to assume Kh001 is a PTDF staff. Did u check his previous posts? i wasn't convinced, i see him as a candidate anticipating outcomes. It's not different from wot others hv been doing. we hear rumours that d list will drop every friday, he ddnt even knw that the LSS scholars were gonna b contacted yesterday. I don't think a PTDF staff should disguise himself if he has information to give us

I follow their twitter handle. They gave us empty words 12 days ago because they wntd candidates to stop asking for the list, but u are here saying they apologized and immediately took action. Do u knw wot immediately means? Today is August 30th, OSS candidates are still waiting for d list today. Some schools hv even resumed, most will resume on Monday, 4th Sept. It has become totally unfeasible to start this September and many schools in the UK don't hv January start. I also follow the nairaland thread, they said notin, they ddnt even respond to the mails pple sent to them. So Pls don't make any other attempt to laud them because PTDF has failed. They hv allowed their incompetence to significantly affect everybody that was tested.

As we wait here in silence, it is cheerful to know that PTDF (A sister agency) has communicated to their prospective scholars and apologiezed for the delay through various social media platforms (twitter, nairaland) and have immediately swung into action.

Communication is key to understanding and good governance.
I hope the NDDC Staff will do same.(abi NDDC social media enquiries never reach?)

MSc- £1,150 per month, for feeding and accommodation. u can get a very good accommodation for £400-£500
