NAFDAC Director General, Prof Dora Akunyili has

order the immediate ban of the sale of MY PIKIN

TEETHING MIXTURE manufactured by BAREWA

PHARMACY,a teething drug for babies. The drug

has killed no fewer than 29 babies. ACCORDING

TO her,she also ordered every

mother,individuals to report any shop

,clinic,hospitals or individuals that is

selling this product. Also pharmacy shops and

patent medicine dealers has been advised to

surrender the said drug in their possession to

any NAFDAC office nearest to them for

destruction.
i keep wondering whether the problem is from

the manufacturers or Nafdac people.
