Job Title: EVENT & RENTAL EXECUTIVE
Location: Lagos
Unit: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Report To: MANAGING DIRECTOR
Job Type: FULL TIME

SUMMARY
This role is responsible for facilitating the Rental of the company's Decor, equipment and meeting annual Rental income targets. The position is also responsible for the development and administration of the client events.
Duties & Responsibilities

(RENTAL)
>Develop and generate new business through proactive outreach to professional organization, Vendors and Event companies.
>Cultivate potential clients, actively solicit new business and close deals
>Manage client relationship from first inquiry to post-Event follow-up
>To ensure timely return of response to clients and information request by email or phone
>Schedule and conduct site visits to determine suitability of equipment and Decor requirements

EVENT MANAGEMENT/ EVENT PRODUCTION
>Supervise, direct and coordinate the activities of Staff, subcontractor and Vendors on new day
>Produce Staff briefings for on-site staff and security on a timely manner
>Schedule and conduct training or refresher for part-time staff
>Produce floor plans and equipment layout for event.

ADMINISTRATIVE
>Mange the Annul budget for rentals (Creation, Re-projection, monthly reconciliation)
>Schedule events manage client invoicing and payment collection
>Maintain accurate and up-to-date Vendors files
>Manage clients contact database
> Produce monthly event calendar for internal use
>Follow up events with evaluation and appraisal letters
> Assist with Event logistics, planning and implementation
Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assign by the management.
QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
>First Degree in Marketing, Business administration, or any related field
>Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in an Event, Rental/ Sales environment

SKILL & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
.Flexible working hours (will need to work some even and weekends to run events)
.Proven ability to work independently and to service a varied clientele
.Excellent communication skill written and verbal
.Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
.Strong organisation and planning skills
. Ability to establish, manage and maintain effective working relationship with a variety of constituents
. Ability to function effectively as team member and a willingness to participate in activities and assignments that help meet the goals and objectives of the company
.Proficiently use resources of the team to meet and exceed client expectation
.Positive attitude, composure, humor,creativity, adaptability and approachability.
.Good excellent computer skills including use of MS office suite (word, excel, power point)
