He was virtually fighting the whole way and involved in more energy consuming activities than the ones you mentioned.

I hope he has gone to see his doctor.

Well done to him! Until the masses of this country start to demand their rights like these Reps. did yesterday, government will continue to trample on us all. Everyone who scaled that gate yesterday deserves a medal in my book.

don't mind this paid per post online people, everyone was aghast with what the police did yesterday, the police has no right the prevent any lawmaker from entering the premises of the National assembly,if it's going on in the states and they are turning blind eyes to it,we most not allow it at the federal level,we are already a laughing stock among other Nations, this act of executive interference would have shut down the nation economy in other countries, with strikes and massive protest,if Gej should get away with this it will make him a maximum ruler, dictator, the National assembly must not be cowed.
Yes, it was wrong of the police. Does that make it right for LEGISLATORS including the SPEAKER to scale fences? Where is the honour?

Then you don't know your history very well. In the 50s, in the Western house of Representatives, legislators went berserk... Smashing chairs on any available heads. in fact, today's generation of lawmakers still dey learn. just research on the political rivalry between akintola and awolowo. Those two introduced thuggery and the 'rent a crowd' phenomenon into our politics.

In 1953 or so, Adelabu of NCNC locked Mapo Hall Ibadan and dared any AG politician to open it.

Why all the hullabaloo about jumping the fence ? What where they supposed to do if a tyrant president sends armed masked men to lock up the parliament, where the representatives of the people preside? Sit down and look? If all those who fought for our democracy had sat down looking, i bet we would still have been firmly under military rule now. Oppressors always take advantage of our sense of civility and decorum to perpetuate their evil, whereas they are not civil nor decorous in their own actions. If an intruder locks you out in your house what will you do? In saner climes the people would have been on the street this morning protesting the tyranny of the Lion of Otuoke. alas this is Nigeria where reason is stood on its head. The clear sign though is that Jonathan is going down faster than we thought.
Yes, if an intruder locks you out of your house, then you burn down the house. Yeye dey smell.

Some time in 2007, i was at the INEC office in PH and i saw some so called aspirants coming to pick forms and they cant even spell their own names correctly, shocked, wearing suit doesnt make you honorable. infact most of the problems we have in our democracy today is rooted in the legislative arm, those APC thugislators should be recalled angry

God, don't pardon all these our political leaders: let them know they are but mere humans next year.

Let there be an unexpected turn-around of events and a total change of our story presently.

Lord, You're the Maker of the universe, take the control of the 2015 general elections from the hand of our Lilly-livered INEC and our vulturous policians and their armies of emissaries of death. Let us for once, at least, know that the kingdom is yours, the power and the glory for ever and ever and that fearing you is the beginning of wisdom in Jesus' name. Amen!

I believe the reps did what's right forcing their ways to gaining access to their house against the unlawful act of the NPF and their commander. Let's put all sentiments aside.

Yesterday 7 PDP lawmakers were irresponsible enough to impeach their speaker on their own accord at Ekiti State. Yesterday APC lawmakers at the HOR had to resist such action by this government who obviously have no regard for laws. Why were PDP lawmakers allowed in before hand? Why did they lock all APC Reps outside? I thought it was supposed to be just Tambuwal? I support their actions fully.

You actually dissected it.

Ah these the ones that want to take over government in 2015. O Lord, Naija is under siege from those we consider as our own leaders. If these ones can scale fence to enter the national assembly house when they have not yet gotten power, what then will happen if God forbid bad thing they become our leaders tomorrow. Maybe then they will carry bulldozer to mow down our treasury to steal our money.

All their names should be printed boldly for the whole world to see what calibre of men these ones are. They are shameless citizens, hooligans masquerading as politicians. I am sure they are the ones that cheated in school to pass, they are the very enemies of this country, they are the very ones who are sponsoring Boko Haram because their actions are not different from Boko Haram.

They must be prosecuted.
