Job description:
• Minimum of 2 years hands on experience configuring Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and wireless controllers.
• Minimum of 1 year hands on experience configuring HP or Dell servers and Vmware.
• Understand project scope and customer requirements before deployment.
• Work with the solution design team to understand all that is required for a timely deployment of the project.
• Conduct a pre-installation site survey and Project initiation workshop to review customer requirements.
• Timely delivery of Network and security based projects and deliver regular status report as agreed during the Project initiation workshop.
• Continuous self-development in line with carrier path and company’s goal.
• Create a plan for a project, execute the plan and adjusting the plan if need be or as necessary.
• Identification and interfacing with the Business development teams on new opportunities on the account.
• Escalation to Unit head on all issues that require interference.
• Regular updates to the unit head on status of the project.
• Project Status Reporting.
• Prepare Post installation documentation.
• Must not be more than 30 years of age.

So I want to ask if I can be taken on an entry level basis. I have skills in networking Cisco routers and Switches, I also some know how in using VMWare coupled with a number of networking certifications from Cisco ...

No matter what your level of experience is, if you can perform about 75% of the Job description in any job AD and can demonstrate this in an interview/test then you should always apply.

No doubt, your CV may be ignored a lot of times especially if it doesn't fit the JD, but you would also need to tweak(no falsehood) your CV to suit the hiring manager's ears. This gives you a better chance of being shortlisted.
