A student of imo state university simply identified as Chisom, lost his life earlier this week during the usual "celebration" of final year students which usually involves pouring of water and other assorted liquids on final year students. According to an eye witness, the student fell into a ditch while running around and pouring water on final year students, by the time he was rescued, he was already dead. "We were celebrating our final years by pouring them water, so as we were running around, he fell inside a pit full of dirty water (sewage) but it didn't cover his head, but by the time we pulled him out, he was dead already because he was athsmatic" the eyewitness stated. His corpse was taken to aladinma mortuary, and will be taken to his hometown at ihiala.. It was gathered the deceased was not in his final year, but was pursuing his B.sc.. RIP to him...
