Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Sen. Bala Muhammed on Wednesday stated that some federal ministries, departments, and agencies would be relocated to Kyami District to decongest the city-centre.

Muhammed told State House correspondents after the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Abuja that the council had already approved N60.8 billion for the provision of engineering infrastructure in the district.

“The Centenary City is also directly opposite this place and because of the increase in population; we need to do something very quickly.

this is a welcome development,

for satellite town to develop as well.

this is the problem of Lagos, cus every morning, millions head to ISLAND, later in the day, heading back to mainland.

VI need to be decongest, manhour loss on the road is too much.
