The United Nation has pledge their full support to fight terrorism in Nigeria following the Kanu Central Mosque bombing on Friday which claimed many lives and left scored injured. The statement was made by the UN Secretary-General Ban ki- moon and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja. The special representative of the UN Secretary-General for West Africa, Mohamed Ibn Chambas, condemned attacks in a statement. Chambas called on the authorities “to increase their response against terrorist threats in north-eastern Nigeria” and for additional measures to protect civilians.
