There is recent update that free night calls has been stopped by NCC, telecoms companies have been forced to comply to this adjustments owing to this.
Globacom one of the foremost and affordable providers have complied already. At the moment, it charges 11k/s on-net calls from 12- 4:59 am on the usage of N30 before 12midnight as against 0k/s.
MTN, at the moment still runs Free night calls, but on restricted tarrif plans/packages but may join fully soon,
Not too sure of Etisalat and airtel for now, but it seems inevitable. Nigerians may need to adjust to this development. Many relationships and businesses thrive on this platform and it's closing up soon. I just hope NCC has Nigerians in mind else they should educate us on this development.

I wonder why they won't do anything about the tons of unsolicited messages we get. Its so annoying that sometimes the messages wakes one up...Imagine you are expecting alert from the bank and your phone beeps only for you to see 'text 128 to 33278' to get tips on how to love a woman, . Seriously, do I need tips from them to love a woman? Abi person Wey broke Wey dey expect alert dey love ni?

What of the very crappy network one has been experiencing for the past 2 weeks across the networks with glo and MTN topping the charts? What are they doing about it? Na this midnight calls Wey home boiz take dey set P, na him dem.wan ban...nonsense and ingredients. do they know how many marriages that originated and are being sustained by midnight calls?
