Got d invite from napsas dis afternoon , to go to abuja for induction , is anybody there already , what's it like , is accomodation available at the hotel . Is the training for two years , how much is the allowance during the training . Is voters registration card acceptable for I'd

Nobody has gotten the text yet? It's almost 5th. I don't like how dz guys do their stuff, So impromptu.

Anyways, after what I saw that day which got me thinking, I mean graduates of English, geography and other non relevant courses there and the amount of people, I decided to do some checking.

I realised its not actually a training for graduates but for technicians.

When the programme is over they will be a dilemma in employing them because what are they going to employ u as? Surely not as a graduate, cz u didn't receive d training for that. And not as a technician cz u r over qualified!

They can't employ after the programme, that's why that woman made emphasis on self employment during the induction speech.

The one for graduates is NAPTIN

The training is for linesmen, cable jointing and operators. Now initially I thought they will rotate the trainees in all the plants (generation, transmission and distribution) but from the looks, this are things that are taught in a workshop.

I had my hopes up this findings just killed them, and I have not seen d text yet cz I knw the amount they are paying will further kill some hopes. Anyways, let's keep d hope alive and be optimistic.

I received a message today from naptin to visit WWW.naptinportal.com to register for one course of 5 available from NAPSAS ,and register for more than one will get one disqualified.
pls has any one received the message

It's gonna show u pendin 4 nw until dey confirm ur name nd if it's on deir participating list, it wld change to admitted. So it's just 4 us to kip checking the site.

Yes I recieved sms and my name was on the list. Tnx

The program we applied for is not just for NAPSAS. They are NAPTIN programs and are tagged Napsas so we could easily know the ones to click on. Ones NAptin confirmed u r a napsas beneficiary, it shall be indicated as a shortlist and sms will be sent us refering us to any email they will send.

What i dont know is this: Naptin has 9 RTC's and they could only send us to stations/substations under their region, which means some persons may not be serving in stations in their states. But they thing is that on the list we r rather having NOUN as the only RTC. I hope NOUN has facilities to train us? Still watching out as things unfold.

I got an sms from NAPTIN on Monday to resume for the NAPSAS 2 weeks training on 2nd Feb 2015, at my state of origin instead of the state of residence/ present location as we were told during the induction in Abuja...

But yesterday morning again I now got this message from NAPSAS saying that:

Pls ignore the sms from NAPTIN as per 2 weeks training on the 2nd of Feb. Training will be done in your state of residence and you will be informed when. Ignore any sms that does NOT come from this number - 090xxxxxx83

Presently now am beginning to get confused any body with this same similar messages
Becos I have called one of the guy I met during the induction, he said he got the sms from NAPTIN but didn't get the Sms from NAPSAS.... which one am I to stick with nw

I got d one frm naptin but dint get d one frm napsas. So I called d napsas help line n dey confirmed d txt msg and said I shdnt go to the NOUN study center but dat by next week further instructions on wia to go to in our state of residence wld be communicated to us.

I got both messages, I hope this goes out smoothly. And our application on naptin portal is not yet approve. I am just praying they do not cause us unneccesary delayance

Pls guys if u received message 4rm naptin 2 report on Monday pls u better go cos it as bn cormirm 4rm naptin officials u better ignore d text 4rm d said napsas or better still call d naptin number below ur text message 4 more clarification n follow ur mind

NAPSAS have just sent messages referring us to their site to locate the center in our state of residence, and to resume training on Monday. So kindly check the napsas website and see the address closer to u.
