OGUN 2015: The Battle Is On

Ogun State is presently an APC State. There is however, no need of telescope to foresee what could
happen politically in the State comes 2015 gubernatorial election as the State is witnessing a serious Power tussles from all party contenders.

Ever since inception of APC as ruling party in Ogun
State, there has been internal crisis that led to two
factions of ruling Governor Amosun called SIA group
and former Governor Osoba's group. Of several cases has it been reported that the Awujale of Ijebuland had fatherly tried to amicably appease to the two sides but all to no avail.

Eventually, the deputy governor Adesegun, former
Governor Osoba, Senator Kaka and others departed
from APC to form a new party- SDP.

Meanwhile, Ogun indigenes having witnessed tremendous developments in the state by the administration of Gov Amosun bothered to the reasons why Osoba and deputy Gov could neglect a performing governor. But eventually, the deputy governor Segun Adesegun published a letter written to his Boss, Amosun stated reasons of his dislike to Amosun which includes lack of official car.

Now the battle is on.

All efforts are on course as different political parties in Ogun State are promising their members heaven and earth to rule comes 2015.

Just as crisis is rocking APC, PDP's is more dangerous due to the caliber of people who are manifesting political and financial might in the state. Buruji, OGD and Bankole are seriously facing internal crisis. The Ogun PDP is in control of Buruji until Gbenga Daniel, former state gov returned to the party.

But things turned around when PDP Gov visited OBJ in Abeokuta to resolve grudges between father and son-OBJ and GEJ. The sole contention in the mind of OBJ is the role of Buruji in PDP, which Baba frankly declared that he won't parley with Gej as long as Buruji still be southwest PDP leader.

Now, it seems Jonathan has started dancing to the music of OBJ. Just today, National leaders of PDP has just nominated Dimeji Bankole, the former House Speaker who is a loyalist of both GEJ and OBJ. This nomination is against the will of Buruji for the state.

Presently, it's becoming clear that Buruji is feeling betrayed by Mr Jonathan and ridiculed before Ogun people. He is set to against the order of the national pdp leader to endorse his own candidate. Could this be a permutation to withdraw Buruji's leadership for Gej to enjoy OBJ's blessing.

The Ogun 2015 guber election is beginning to
show a sign of do-or-die bravity as lots of murder,
kidnapping and violences have started manifesting
among the politicians.

APC, PDP, SDP, LP, AGN are all in the field with vigorous style of campaign.
