I'm 100% sure that if Goodluck had participated in just one of the multiple presidential debates he successfully dodged during the last presidential election, he wouldn't be our president today.
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan should not be allowed to play Nigerian voters this time around by systematically avoiding presidential debates. He must be forced to present Nigerians with what he plans to do in the next 4 years in office.
Nigerians are eager to know their next president. Live presidential debates are necessary and must be enforced.
This is the only way the candidates will have the opportunity to openly defend their records and credentials.

I recommend 4 presidential debates before Feb 14, 2015 (1. Security, 2. CORRUPTION 3. Economy and 4. Power supply).

“Debates help you to test the candidates and be able to form an idea; that this candidate has an idea what the problems are. Those are the things that help people to make choices.” He cited the example of the best-known presidential debate in Nigerian history, the one between M.K.O. Abiola and Bashir Tofa, in June 1993. “Immediately, Tofa could not answer what the price of fuel was, it became clear to Nigerians that this was the candidate who was disconnected… We should not have people seeking high office without participating in debates.” By Babatunde Fashola

Shatap dia. kiss. Your party, the APC scheduled a presidential debate today but scuttled it because of fear of slaps and daggers. Yet, you want Goodluck to honor a debate that might end with name calling and head butting. We don't want GEJ close to propagandists.

For the record, I just posted a new topic asking for Gov Ajimobi (Oyo State APC governor) to be arrested.

In 2011 when the Debate Organizer refused to give Jonathan the questions before the Debate - Here was what happened:

He ran away from presidential debate for not getting EXPO (the questions before the Debate)

Afterwards had a shameless counter debate with dbanj (who was not contesting in the election)

What he did with Dbanj was a big disgrace, so he staged and debated himself ALONE on National TV

I don't think he has any new plan for Nigeria in the next 4 yrs. If he has such plans, why has he not execute them in the last 6yrs?

Even if the debate takes place pls expect not to have power supply all over the country on the day of the debate. Newly discovered powerless PDP are ready to do anything to push their bad product through. But Nigeria of today is different from yesterday, people are sick of poor leadership, living in poverty with no hope and dying day after day because we have a clueless president.
I support presidential debate 100 percent.
This will surely expose our featherbrained president.
