Quite recently, there has been a spike in the number of products with funny names in the Nigerian market. The question goes thus, what is the work of the SON, Standard Organisation of Nigeria?

It disgusts me even more when with every new day, an android phone with a very funny name will hit the Nigerian market & more so, these phones like "WIKO", "JIAYU", "SIGOO" etc are completely unreliable. Sometimes, you see electronic products like standing fans etc with names of their igbo marketers on them. Its quite appalling that the government has chosen to overlook this trend but has gone ahead to put massive import duties on some very important commodities. This cannot happen in other developed countries because they value their economy & the comfort of their citizens. You cannot be selling injoo phones or Chi-max fans if you want your country to be developed tbh!
