I am sure my husband will be excited to read this post. He will not be surprised at the content though. There is nothing about how I feel that he doesn't know already. When I met and married my husband years ago, I was ready for some serious commitment. I wasn't ready for fickle relationships and when one serious, fine looking man showed up to sweep me off my feet. I didn't hesitate. Prior to marriage, I had read a lot of books enough to understand that marriage was hard work like every other good thing you want in this life and I was ready to do my part. Fast forward a couple of years, after two boys, my feelings still remains the same.
I don't claim to be an expert on marriage. I don't even come close. All I know is that , just like parenting, there is really no manual on marriage. Even Google can't give you all the information you need to make your marriage work. Some how-to-books will give you theory but the practical might not follow the theory. I learn everyday on the job, how to be a better wife to my husband as well as a better mother to my children.
