Former Information Minister Mr. Labaran Maku has decried the recent killing of four persons in the All Progressives Congress, APC’s primary election into the House of Assembly in Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The former Minister, made this remark through a press release during the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, House of Representatives primaries.

Mr. Maku said unlike the PDP that conducted its primaries peacefully, APC’s primaries were characterized by violence, which was a manifestation of the APC’s disposition.

“We appreciate the PDP as a peaceful party. When PDP held its primaries in Nasarawa State, they were all peaceful. Four persons were killed in Kokona following the crisis in APC’s primaries. APC is a very violent party and the people of this state have already understood the situation. They are all returning to the PDP because they need peace in this state” he stated.
