My dear, i will advise u dont rush to submit o. U are to wait for about 2months to get the result of ur application. So it ll b beta u delay for a week dan rush to submit and get delayed by CIC. Payslip is one of d vital doc listed on CIC website. Dont take dat risk. Since ur sponsor is ur main sponsor, its important u show how he gets his money, his what he does for a living and how financial dependable he is. I repeat...DONT RUSH. bepzi4jesus: 1 Like |

CoCoLav: Hi! Lol@impatient dad, I was in a similar position few months back. Well according to the kind help I got here, uOttawa students hardly take courses during the summer (except it's fixed or any other special case). So the $7014 will be per session (fall session & winter session) and that'll make $7014*2 for a full year's payment. But you should also note that fall session may be a little more expensive than the winter session, and you should also make consideration for the health plan fees. I hope this helps. Btw...what course & session are you going for? |

My long awaited time is here, paying my half tuition after easter but I will like to know some few things. 1. The SOP form is not online as I intend to use online platform instead of the paper application, where do I get it? 2. I will be sponsoring myself and my brother(canadian citizen) as a co sponsor. I have just 2m in the acct, in which I will pay tuition deposit out of it, I intend to print the SOA and later pay tuition deposit. After which the money in the acct won't b upto 2m again but I'm submitting 2m SOA for visa application. Is it allowed? 3. Is letter of introduction very important from my company because I joined yesterday. |

I keep on reading posts concerning "School is asking for SAT or TOEFL" Like seriously why won't such person make his/her research on the school before applying. There are Schools in Canada that requests for such while the others don't. When applying, go to "English Proficiency Test" locate "Countries that satisfies the test already" You should see Nigeria and Ghana there amongst the few African Countries. If Nigeria is not there and you don't have time for SAT and co..Run away!! Case #2. Click on Nigeria and you will see all the requirements there! SSCE/WAEC..finish!! BTW, University of Victoria and Lakehead are requesting for more applicants!! 1 Like 2 Shares |

Based on the information I got from FPGS Uottawa when I got my Masters admission at Uottawa, the tuition was approximately 6k5 per session for 3 session in a year. i.e about 19k per year. You have to pay tuition for all sessions, as long as you are still a student...also my course was to start in summer 2015...so yes they take courses in Summer. I am also aware that Pre-Masters is usually more expensive than Masters itself... Kepner: 1 Like |

...For how to pay your fees, you can go to your uozone account, click on "Finances and Jobs"...under "Your Student Account", you will see "bank-Bank transfer for International Students". You will need to use Western Union Business Solutions’ bank-to-bank transfer for your payment. Kepner: |

Hello e-fam, am currently filling my online application and there is a column that says i should provide digital phone. Please are they referring to passport photograph or a portrait photo? Secondly, is statement of purpose the same with letter of explanation? please your response is urgently needed as my time is running out. Thanks |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Team12: 11:31pm On Apr 02, 2015 |
...So pple dont typically apply for pre-masters. But most schools give u pre-masters if the admission committee is not satisfied or convinced that you qualify for direct Masters program (and they dont want to decline your application). The Pre-Masters is kinda like PGD (It is also called a Post Baccalaureate Diploma) kfrosh: 1 Like |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Kepner(f): 11:38pm On Apr 02, 2015 |
Team12: I think we can agree that yours was under the 'fixed/special case' I mentioned cos you were to begin your program in the summer session. And from my understanding, regular uOttawa students generally observe the summer break without having to pay tuition for the summer (I think, except he/she wants to take courses or perform any other academic activity). This has been confirmed by active students. |

Moheat: Yeah. Statement of Purpose and Letter of Explanation generally mean the same thing in this context. |
