Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Team12: 2:57pm On Jun 02, 2015 |
When u were filling your questionnaire online to check your eligubility to aply online, they must have asked u if u want to apply for a family member, bla bla bla...you need to select yes and answer the questions that follow. At the end, a checklist will be generated for all 3 of u. Typically you will need to submit 1. Application for TRV made outside of Canada. 2. Upload their data page and visa pages 3. Passpot Photograph Schedule one is optional for them. On your own applicaton, you will be required to submit "Use of family member representative". This form authorises to apply on their behalf. Also ensure that the documents you upload as proove of funds can cover their expenses. Also include in the family information form that they will be accompanying u. HseOfGlamour: 1 Like |

sorry about that @diamonds4ever *in the VOs mind* what employment do u intend to get with the diploma when u come back to nigeria. how long has he been academically idle since high school. how did he tackle that. with reasons in his SOP or with documents to back what he has been doing. obviously he can get an adv diploma admission in some schools while some wud require bsc. |

Team12: Yeah Team 12. Exactly why i find it so difficult. That's the true story but how will the VO be convinced. I don't even know what to do. The only way to prove to d VO dt ds d reality is to let him know d reality. Chai! Whatever dt means. Maybe i should only submit my employment letter n SOA n forget about the study leave approval n family friend thg. I'm so confused. What do u advise, pls? Pls, others help me out or i will just do as the Spirit leads. |

porlo87:He did give a letter of support but not a sworn affidavit by a notary. Does this place an importance on the application? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Ivylane: 3:59pm On Jun 02, 2015 |
[quote author=Snappyfingaz post=34346869] I would advise you to put all visa pages as this removes the possibility of being denied becos of lack of travel history and to back up information you filled in your form about your travel history (except you didnt include that to the question in the last 10yrs have you.........) . there is a reason they ask for it. kind of to show that you have travelled and returned to Nigeria previously |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by porlo87: 4:02pm On Jun 02, 2015 |
diamondsare4eva: We can't really tell the importance of it, we're not in the VO's mind, but it's always safe to put it. Swearing before a notary or in a high court shows that the sponsor has committed himself and is indebted (by law) to sponsoring the applicant. (Well, Dats how I look at it. ) |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Ivylane: 4:05pm On Jun 02, 2015 |
Crich: @ Crich remain honest it is the best policy. if thats the case you have been given study leave and the company has written directly to the embassy in that regard include all papers. Also add in the conclusion paragraph of your SOP in a sentence that is catchy or the reason you are given the study leave and support from the company etc if that applies. my take is when you show all hands there wont be room for doubt and imaginations in the VO's or any human mind, dont over think it! the truth never failed anyone in my opinion. 1 Like |

You could package small sha.. A scenario just came to head.. You worked with them five years ago, you left but the company wanted you to stay.. You felt they were not encouraging your career so you left for ur MBA.. After they called you back and offered to give you the job, you gave them a condition that you will be going for your masters in Leadership first before you can fully work with them... Based on your great contribution the last time you were in their employment, they accepted... Na you come know how you go put am for SOP or company's statement.. Again, my opinion Team12: 3 Likes |

twizzie: Hi Crich. I agree with twizzie. Why will a company hire u knowing that u will go for 1 year, that mean they will have to hire someone else to feel ur space for that 1 year period. To me this makes no business sense for the company. It's also a daunting task for hr to hire. Considering the fact that the world is becoming an employers market. Hmmm I'm thinking. Is there no way to leave out the study leave story cos it doesn't seem 100% solid. If u were truly given study leave then I guess u can put it. But before God and man if u were not given study leave let's all brain storm and look for a stronger story. My text might seem kind of rude but trust me I have no intention of been rude. :-) I'm just trying to help. 2 Likes |

To all the gurus in the house. I need your advice as to who to use as my sponsor. My dad is a civil servant with salary of about #500 k+ monthly, with steady cash flow and statement of account of 2.5mil. Landed property are many. Rented out apartments are over 13 flats. total rent from all properties are over 3million per annum. Am I good to go with him or use my cousin. His mum is is the elder sister to my mum. No direct relationship. But he is willing to sponsor. I have an affidavit sworn at high court by him. He has a balance of over 100mil, and steady cash flow of over 250mil per month. Should I use him as my sponsor or use his company as he is into fertilizer supply and get an employment letter from him? But am currently serving nysc so I can't be employed by him. Am really confused. I need help. Am going for information technology professional at lambton college. I studied electrical and computer engineering. I have some professional certification like CCNA, Oracle, Web design, project management and CCNP(in view). |
