With the Way Nigeria and Indeed Nigerians are going, it seems as if we've completely lost our sense of morality and Love for our dear country. How on earth will some young Nigerians ask politicians of which ever party to pay them a fee in exchange for their Delegate votes or dia votes during the General election. When did Nigeria deteriorate to this level where politicians feel they can just wake up one morning and buy up elected offices rather than earn them through credible track records? In my own candid opinion, I think if during the periods of elections in Nigeria, the youth population decide to sell their votes to politicians for a fee, they shouldn't complain of the unavailability of basic infrastructures/amenities, unemployment, insecurity etc...in the country, because they already mortgaged their rights to these things when dey sold their votes for the sake of "Stomach Infrastructure". I am hereby using this medium to call on my fellow youths to take the forth coming General elections seriously as it is another chance to make our voices heard and forge a good and better Nigeria of tomorrow. "Tomorrow Belongs to those who plan for it today!!!!" 1 Like |
