GMB over GEJ
Reason; GEJ have succeeded in perfectly ruining this country for the past 6 years under a democratic dispensation characterised by lawlessness curruption and regular bombing of innocent citizens ( like the one that just happened in jos few minutes ago).
GMB needs a chance under democracy.

really, if checked by achievement, Buhari has more achievement than Jonathan but for just the fact that Buhari is an Hausa man has disqualified him.people from the north have this stupid notion that Nigeria belongs to them, they feel they are supposed to lead while other tribes follow which is the reason for all their fussing *sighs* ...so if we end up putting buhari there,he will hand it over to his fellow northerner and same madness will continue

GEJ, because
1. I'm left with a choice of going to a leader who was at the helm of affairs exactly 31 years ago...that is going back to the old order, an order I believe put Nigeria where it is now, I'm a believer that if there was no coup of 1983, all the problems we are having now, would have happened around 20 years after 2019, so by now we would have had 40 years of democracy, fickle issues like zoning, politics of tribe and religion are things we would have outgrown as i see those things as teething problems of any emerging democracy, by now we would have been on the gaining side of what a strengthened democracy can offer. in his Channels TV interview, he defended hos action of trauncating a democracy, and was ot apologetic for what he did, which was another beginning of sending Nigeria behind again.
2. Buhari did not give any outline of his plans for Nigeria if elected, he only works based on his reputation of being an honest man, a reputation nobody can truly verify, as it's just based on word of mouth, and also history also shows us that he was no respecter of due processes or courts and law, he, he arbitrarily jailed people with lengthy sentences and let other people walk freely for the same offences.
3. GEJ, a man of few words, has done reasonably well, save for the insurgency destroying parts of the north, but he has against other odds, political and otherwise, to the best of his ability tried to put Nigeria on the path of glory again via industrialization, and private sector job creation, directly and indirectly...by reviving rail travel, attracting huge tons of foreign investment (engineering firms like Nissan and Kia now assemble cars here and would be the headquarters for an African market, that would create a lot of jobs and human (citizens) development) the unbundling of the power sector is a huge thing but the slowest to see progress in, ...I know he was over ambitious to want to withdraw fuel subsidy, a thing if was allowed to go through would have seen the emergence of home owned refineries which would have provided jobs, and on the long run made oil sell on a demand and supply basis, as other countries of the world are now buying fuel the cheapest they have ever bought it, we also would have had the same story to share...I won't like to bore any reader, but this are a few things my objective minds have deciphered. though the progress is slow...but it is growing steadily, only if we decide to be objective and proactive enough
ps I'm not a PDP supporter or a GEJ fan, but these are analysis I have drawn

The People's General of course.

The reason being that he is the only one who can fight corruption which happens to be our greatest problem to a standstill.

very true, you can't use the corrupt to fight corruption...but then, he will need funds for campaigns, these funds come from the party, donors and other sources, and these donors and financiers are corrupt politicians, who defected, or who have a long history with corruption, so my question goes as follows:
Tinubu/Atiku etc will be required to fund the election campaigns with what money....non corrupt funds?
will he prosecute them if/when he becomes president? no he won't, why? he benefited from their corruption, which would make him corrupt and in his words the corrupt won't be able to fight corruption...

Wrong analysis.

Buhari is surely not going to look into past corruption cases. He draws the line and he will only be held accountable for whatever happens during his regime. If no corruption case has been proven against any of those financiers you mentioned, he cannot also be said to be corrupt by association.

Well, you sound like you know his personal mind...let's go down history lane, he got famous for prosecuting and jailing perceived corrupt citizens who were corrupt in regimes before his own...and we know from life that history has a way of repeating itself, anyways financiers finance a candidate...why? There must be some sort of reward system...which world wide has elements and shades of corruption...however small these may be
