most of you are just writing balderdash, remember Police na human being, they have their families, headaches & wahala to carter for. Imaging for over 10 years you've not received promotion while the Ogas are busy at the top amassing wealth and promotion to themselves. Busy going on courses and leaving the rank and file behind.

I think until they actually go on strike then you would know how important they are. As for me i understand their plight. People abeg i wan ask, how many civil defence do we have in Nigeria. Maybe Vigilante would take over and you know there is not even a trait of rule of law in them. They are the Judge, jury and executioners. So which way Naija.

The frustration in the nigerian system is enough to make the most patriotic person misbehave. This will explain the reason for the police threat.

They culprits will face orderly room trial and execution. The armed forces will take charge. Someone needs to be made a scapegoat. That is why we need Buhari now!

The Police cant pay promotion allowances, yet AIGs, DIGs, and the IG are driven around in BMWs, and they keep buying trucks and cars and APCs...

Wickedness and greed is what is killing every institution in Nigeria...

Several presidents have been in charge of Nigeria , never for once have we heard police saying they will go on strike ,

I guess this is what happens when you say $20B is just stealing , not corruption

GEJ is becoming desperate by the day , hope he doesn't leave Nigeria in shambles before he leaves office in 2015. There's already too much tension , poverty and hate among Nigerians. After police , if army joins in then it would be a pitialble bismal squared
