Frankly speaking, Gen Muhammed Buhari should pick His running mate from the South-West without giving a damn about whether its a Moslem/Moslem or Buddaist/Buddaist candidate.
He should look for a very Popular South-westerner to select as HiS Vice-President.

The truth is that the South-Easterners will never vote for Buhari even if he select Chukwuemeka Ojukwu Junior as his running mate, so why waste an energy on a people that will not vote for you?

Let the forthcoming election be between the

North-East, North-west and

South- West( Apc stronghold) V

South-East and South-South*some part* (PDP STRONGHOLD)

North-Central will be divided between Apc and PDP

so tactically speaking Apc should pick a popular and prominent Yoruba man as the Vice-President, selecting an Igbo man will be waste of time and will never make an average Igbo man to vote for Buhari

Let's "analyse" it this way,

if the running mate is Ibo and APC has SW stronghold; then let GMB go on and maximize all potential votes.

GMB is north, APC has great SW support and Ibo VP will captivate a one Nigeria
