I read this comment here with sadness to imagine what our youth are becoming. It does seems to me that we are not meant to grow at all. We have blind supporters of political parties without us(youths) probing deep to know these individuals. While I am not in support of any political party, I dunno why GMB will use the word 'at least' when declaring his asset. If he has 10 million in his account let him say it. The word at least 1million might mean 100 billion so its an incomplete statement.
"At least 1" is very concise. If it's 1 it's not up to 2 or more than 2. If 2 comes in, it should be "at least 2." If I have at least N100, it will be misrepresentation to assume I have N200.

BUHARI's children should be ashamed of him. Imagine my father @ the age of this northern monkey telling us that he has less than 1million naira...

I keep saying this...
Islam is the world's major problem!!!
LOl....you guys cannot comprehend simple grammar? Why are you guys so bent on tarnishing this man's image by any means? Let me break it down for you in simple english: "I have at least 1 million" means that "I have a minimum of 1 million Naira in my account". It may be a little more or far more than that, but that's the least. If and when he has to officially declare his assets,I'm sure he can be specifically precise.
He's trying to be truthful and you guys have already twisted his words so early already. By the way, he is not the one that said that to the public. He probably said it somewhere earlier and then Sen.Ibikunle Amosun just typed and tweeted it. Nothing wrong with that. What do you think?

To the OP, Please be informed that not everyone count the number of millions you have in your account as a measure of richness or success. some people believe in service and derive the highest fulfilment from serving people than from how many millions they have in their account.
The practice all over the world now is for politicians to declare their asset as a sign of intergrity at least after their tenure you can deduce if they stole your money or not. this simple act of morality GEJ failed to do, therefore attacking someone that does is like putting two before one because the good governance you are asking for start from being upright.
Finally Buhari has stated that he derives more pleasure from counting his cattle rather than counting his millions,Obasanjo has stated in his book rightly that if you are looking for an economist,Buhari is not the man, BUT if you are looking for a strong leader, a discipline leader, a man who detest corruption and will fight the cabal, then Buhari is your man.
No one knows it all, at least GEJ is not a good economist too,but at least he put in place a fairly good economic team. But you will agree with me that our greatest challange facing us as a nation now is corruption and the will to tackle it from above, that my friend is the reason most people are rooting for this man.

I understand what you're saying man...TOTALLY. I side with you particularly on this post of yours I quoted, However, you know how media things are, they spiral beyond control. I don't think GMB said that with the aim of getting it to the public per se. He might have been interviewed and then he replied and then it got out as a "headline". Anyways, I get you.

You call us gullible and sentimental, but you my friend fall into this category for attacking a man who tried to do the right thing and calling him a bad economist, judging his success base on your standard of ammassing wealth as success. He was just declared winner 24 hours ago, have you waited or asked about his manifesto? who told you he does not have a manifesto?

Am sure we all did english, saying he has a minimum of N1 million is like not saying anything, dangote can as well alter that statement and will still not be lying. What a minmum of N1 million means is that no matter the hardship he's facing its very sure that his balance is not less than a million which in the real sense could be 100 billion

What kind of common sensse ans sense of logic took you from 1 million 10 100 billion?

Although i respect Buhari, i would say that i do not like the way he is trying to buy our sympathy. Although this formula worked for the shoeless clueless man, i doubt if this is what people are ready to hear right now. We need to hear how your manifesto would convincingly tell us you are the right man for the job. I have not been able to see that yet. But this comedian is as senseless as the word can be. Anybody who knows the english language should know that this statement 'i have atleast' is very confusing. What it basically means is that he has nothing less than 1million Naira in his account which is definitely more but not less.
I do believe you are the person being senseless here reasons being that if he want to declare is wealth, he should be direct. 2. The bone of contention here is Buhari why bring somebody else into this matter.

Dude, you are nothing but an attention-seeking individual who is not very bright either. Even my youngest child yet to attend Primary School can probably lecture you on the fallacy and idiocy of all you wrote. First of all, because of what our nation is, it is highly desirable for buhari to declare his assets and it is only a fool or lying pretender who will insinuate otherwise as you do. Asset declaration, indicating a readiness to lead by example, is essential !!! Buhari is telling citizens of one of the most corrupt nation on earth to trust him and be assured he is ready to serve them since all he owns is in the public domain. How is this not a fantastically exemplary development? Only a 'business as usual' dimwit like you can make this lofty and exemplary conduct appear wrong . You say Buhari, by stating he has at least a million in the bank, is insinuating anyone who has above N1 million is corrupt. Where on earth did you get that m0r0nic idea from? If I make a factual statement about the money I have in my pocket does that mean I am judging the money in your pocket? Is Buhari a Martian who is ignorant of how Nigeria has many legitimately rich people?

As is usual of ignorant folks who think they can fool others about their real agenda, you asininely roll out the facetious cliche of "no manifesto" and "tell us what your agenda is" yet the APC has a clearly laid-out manifesto accessible to folks who, unlike you, are not intellectually lazy or mischievously deceitful. Even only two days ago Buhari was , once again, publicly and eloquently declaring his "agenda" for Nigeria after being declared the APC Presidential candidate. What manner of person are you to be fraudulently asking for what has already been given to you many times and is only a computer mouse click away?

The first assignment I have for you is simple. Go and get a transcript of Buhari's speech after emerging the APC candidate at Teslim balogun Stadium and then give yourself a well-deserved slap for your shamelessly self-serving antics of trying to use the 'trending' Buhari to create popularity for yourself you cannot garner on the strength of your comedic talent alone. The General deserves respect for emerging the unanimous candidate of the biggest opposition Party in Nigeria. He is talking to Nigerians but hungry hacks like you are not listening. You prefer lying and using deception to advance your own fortune at the expense of a man who is genuinely what Nigeria needs. What has killed Nigeria other than the selfish behaviour you have shown here? Shame on people like you and your hungry/materialistic outlook.

indeed. Dude is a totally disgraceful hack. How can anyone attack a prospective Nigerian leader who is openly declaring his asset willingly while others, like GEJ, bluntly refuse to do this in anticipation of the billions they plan to steal in office? How on earth will we get genuine public servants if we do not embrace people who are ready to lead by example and make themselves the subject of financial scrutiny, accountability, transparency and probity? This wannabe comedian is nothing but a publicity seeking opportunist and enemy of progress.

Have y'all bothered to ask yourselves this question? "Is General Muhammadu Buhari the same as Senator Ibikunle Amosun?" The Facebook account is probably being used by one of the Governor's numerous aficionados. When has Ibikunle Amosun become Buhari?! According to the write-up, he bought the Presidential form N5.5m, when we all know he purchased it with N27.5m!

If you can link us to a Youtube Video where he declared his asset, I'd believe you. Websites like Punch, Premiumtimes and SaharaReporters never broke the news that he declared his assets, but we've already started believing this.
To God i wanted to adrifvhe bought another one. I read it here when they said he borrowed 21m or so to buy the form.
