I took a snapshot of the phone but network wouldn't let me upload it. Guess would do it at night when the network is usually good. It's still not seeing network anyway.

Once IMEI is missing it's a Bad sign. I.e no modem Firmware. Only solution I know is freezing and not permanent. Will work for a few days and get back to searching.

If your iPad is 3G there's a way it can be rendered WiFi only for a token. Removing the iCloud while retaining 3G doesn't worth it for an iPad 3. Cost could buy you an iPad 4

Though it had once happened in 2014 and I got it fixed and it started working perfectly until july 2015 when the same thing happened again. It's requesting for software upgrade though. Requires about 900 hundred MB space for it to be upgraded and also must be connected to WiFi connection. Wondering if that might help if I happen to upgrade the OS.
