Please i want to know what it will cost me to replace the airbag of hyundai accent 2000.
Also what could make the car to vibrate when the A/c is put ON. Thanks.

If it doesn't shake with the ac off then you may be loosing your compressor or have clogged vents/ ducts....if your air blows hard but not cold that's another sign that your compressor may be leaking as well...If you have a serpentine belt ( single belt on your engine) then if your compressor goes you will loose your drive belt and over heat your engine...many times when the compressor goes it locks up and the belt will drag and Squeal across it, look for wear spots on your belt...sometimes it will not make any noise if it goes while you are driving at most any speed but will burn through the belt from friction and cause your accessories to stop working like your power steering and water pump...which could overheat your engine in no time and cause more expensive repairs...take it to a mechanic and tell him you want to have your ac checked for efficiency..tell him your concerns...theres not much you can do for the compressor beyond replacing it...if your up to the trouble then try to spin the compressor with the belt slipped off and take note of the amount of drag you notice, it should spin freely but not as free as your tire would, you should have some drag but not considerable drag...if its hard to turn then your compressor is shot or the bearings are shot- replace it...one more thing you may want to consider is how much power your engine has available to it with the ac off....check your spark plugs for fouling (dirty) and look for a bad firing cylinder....you may be noticing a power loss you have normally from bad gas or inadequate combustion that is showing up when the ac is on.

Tnx 4 d response. D ac was working fine until the mechanic went n changed d relay. It stil works now, jst that d whole car vibrates and shakes wen it is turned ON.

I was told for the ac, something needs to be adjusted.
