WHO SHOULD WE TITHE TO?
.
If we look into the scriptures we see the following in
terms of tithing periods (The first two being the first
covenant while the last being in the New Covenant):
1. PEOPLE to HIGH PRIEST (Before Levites were selected
from the tribe of Levi)
2. PEOPLE to LEVITES to HIGH PIREST (when Levites
were introduced )
3. PEOPLE to HIGH PRIEST (We don’t have Levites
today but only Priests)

During the time of the Lord YaHshua on earth, the
Pharisees also abused tithes by focusing more on them
leaving the other weightier matters of the law:
Mat_23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and
cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of
the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye
to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Luk_11:42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe
mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over
judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have
done, and not to leave the other undone.
Many churches quote the book of Malachi to people
and promise great blessings if they tithe and we see
many tithe and little chances of seeing these promised
blessings. Why is it so?

POITNTS TO NOTE
.
1. If we tithe to the High Priest who is in heaven then
we shall see the blessings promised in scriptures.
2. Many people in denominations tithe to their Pastors
or Prophets or their leaders who use the tithe the way
they want. These leaders have replaced the heavenly
High Priest.
3. No Apostle, No Prophet, No Teacher, No Pastor, No
Evangelist, Not even Elders and Deacons are entitled
to use the tithe of the Lord and of the High Priest the
way they want but the High Priest should use it for
His work and according to His Instructions.
4. The Third year tithe was meant for the stranger, the
fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within
thy gates, and be filled. (Are we obeying this
commandment?)

I think the most important thing is faithfulness. I can't give scriptural backing for tithing weekly or monthly. but can u give scriptural backing for tithing yearly?? because I doubt
