mine wasn't rooted but got bricked cos I used anti virus app to scan my phone..during d process it got bricked

Have u guys tried data wipe through recovery?
If not, boot into recovery and wipe data

Guys dis is wat my s5 kips showinG. Any suggestion on how to bring it back to life will be highly appreciated. Thanks

HOW TO UNBRICK YOUR BRICKED ANDROID
DEVICE
As interesting as android is, it has a very
peculiar problem which most of us are already
familiar with. This problem is called
"BRICKING".
what is bricking in Android world?
The word " brick ", when used in reference to
smart phone (Android) or tablet computer that,
due to a serious misconfiguration, corrupted
firmware, or a hardware problem, can no longer
function. This problem is commonly
encountered when you try to root your Android
device, although there are other causes. Now
let's go straight to business.
HOW TO UNBRICK YOUR BRICKED ANDROID
DEVICE
* Firstly you simply
get another phone(unbricked) of the exact
model of the bricked phone
* Boot the good phone into recovery mode
(hold volume up and power button
simultaneously while the phone
is off)
* use navigation key down to scroll down to
Backup and restore
* Select Backup then yes(volume up) to confirm
* After Backup is complete, copy the backup
file / folder from the SD card of the good phone
to the SD card of the bricked phone (maintain
the file path)
* Boot the bricked phone into recovery mode(as
you did above)
* Go to backup and restore
* Select Restore
* Select the backup you just copied and click
yes to confirm. Good luck!!
