I love been a female...it has it ups and it odds too though.
I have been waiting for this opportunity to tell the world how it hurts to be a victim of rape or sexual molestation.

The dream of every growing up pretty igbo girl then was to be a model or a tV star in one of those soap operas like binta&friends,super story or been a tV presenter in a teens show.
I wasnt like that,i never had such nasty dreams that rarely came to reality.
I was just plain chocolate complexioned wendy with brown eyes,red lips and long nose.
I wasnt that bright too.
Was just between ten -fifteenth position.
There was even a time i took below twenty position.
(rolls my eyes) not that I care anyway...
I had this shyness in me,I rarely made friends.my friends were the old ones of my childhood.
I was painfully shy that I couldnt look boys in the eyes.
Then,I loved been on my own,never meddling into peoples affairs so no one ever meddled into mine.
So....My academic performance remained below waters,I was doing so poor,shamefully poorly and that led my sweet loving parents to enroll me into evening tutorials.
They wanted the best for me! They saw the best in me!
Well,niether did they know that they had sealed my fate.
I was always away,either at school or at tutorials,i rarely knew what was happening at home,i rarely had time for my siblings,i rarely chatted with my childhood friends living in our compound.
It was book...book...and book...all the time.
Do you blame me??
So....at the age of eight I came across the worse scene that remained glued to my memory up till today.
(sighs) the real story hasnt begun and am shedding tears..
You wouldnt understand.
