I know by now, you must have heard about IJMB, you
purposely come to this site to get MORE information about the IJMB programme and how it works, and even to know how you or your wards can start the IJMB program with the rest of the other students. Well before I continue let me rest your mind that the form still remain today, so be rest assured that you or your child are having the
opportunity currently. Though the lecture do start between between March/ April every year – the earlier the better for you to start the program. Now lets go the main purpose why you are here. To know more about IJMB program, IJMB admission and lectures.
Full meaning of IJMB is Interim Joint Matriculation Board – it is a program being moderated by ABU, Zaria ( Ahmadu Bello University). When I said moderated by them, I mean they supervised and monitored the program so that it wouldn't dwindled to the extent where other universities wouldn't like to associate with the program anymore. Not only that, they formulate policies and laws that governed the program and other essential tool kit that show the headway of the program, like the syllabus to follow, the needed requirement by the program, and exam time table, all is being done by ABU, Zaria.

Before I continue, lets me tell you the main purpose of IJMB, IJMB is a ten months program in which you or your ward will go through and make final result, probably scoring a minimum of 5 points out of the total of 16 points, you or that your child will have the opportunity of gaining admission into 200 Level of any university of choice except Unilag whether is of federal, state or private universities. That’s the main purpose why IJMB was being the key and to some alternative routes of gaining admission into university.
How To Get IJMB Form
If you have read through my previous posts, you must by now know how to get your IJMB form. Secondly if you have read through some my posts you will know that I’m not an agent that will ask you to call me without telling you the institution I represent an IJMB. I worked as the secretary to the Suigeneris Jocas Institute, the best place where you can run your IJMB program and have peace of mind of both quality lecturers and quantity in lectures.

The Real Purpose of IJMB

Well, I think I have made mentioned of the main purpose o f IJMB – is to see you through and gain admission into 200 Level of any university of your choice, except of course Unilag. And maybe what I forgot to add to it is that, the IJMB result expires after 7 good years, unlike UTME that you need to do every year. At a time, you can choose six universities of your first choice, second choice, third choice ………….etc till six choice in a single year.

IJMB Requirements

Before you can make use of your IJMB results there are primary requirement you are expected to have reached, which I think is no problem about that. The primary requirement of anyone seeking to attend or register for IJMB program is to have his O level result complete, or at least use awaiting result, but in an expectation that you are going to write your O level result while the program is going on, since you can’t make use of it without having your O level result complete.

Who Can Attend IJMB program?

As long as meet the minimum requirement of using waiting result you are good to go to attend IJMB program. IJMB is not a program for the lazy, but it’s for those who want to serious reading their books not facebook. LOL. IJMB is not met for the brilliant students; it’s for those who are ready to read and concentrate more on their books. That is why your mind set is very important. How To Make Use Of Your IJMB Result
To use your IJMB result to gain admission into 200 Level, you need to visit JAMB website or their nearest office to obtain D.E form (Direct Entry), fill them in correlation with your IJMB result, by then you have the opportunity to choose first and second choice university. Another interest thing is, you have the opportunity of choosing your course which will be determined by how many points you were able to obtain from the IJMB exam from your IJMB result

Steps In Applying For IJMB Program
1,The first step is to print the form out at http://www.ijmbway.com/p/print-out-ijmb.html
2. Then do pay the form fee which is currently #8,000, to the following account number

Account Name: IJMBWAY ALEVEL REGISTRATION
Account No: 0163836217
Bank : Guaranty Trust Bank (Gtbank)

3 After paying, do fill the printed form with CAPITAL LETTERS

4. Attach your passport to the designated area on the form
5. Go back to the nearest cyber cafe to you and scan the form you have already filled, and also scan the teller copy you were issued at the bank

6. Send all the scanned data to ijmbway@gmail.com

7. Within 2 to 4 hours, a reply will be sent to you via the email you used to send the scanned data to us, the email will include other few details you need to know as an IJMB students

The total fees you will be paying through your IJMB programme with us in any of our centres is #168,000 till you write your final examination which is alway due by Februay every year. You can see the break down of the fees at IJMB programme fee
