Is Paid Employment ( Salary Job) Really A Slavery? by fryo4life(m): 7:27pm On Dec 26, 2014
I have been attending some entrepreneurship seminars for some couple of days. What I discovered is that most motivational speakers tend to degrade salary job to slavery but encourage enterpreneurship as the best. But are there not salary earners that earn monthly salary far higher than some entrepreneur's total yearly profit? Then why is paid employment regarded a modern day slavery? Even if the job pays good salary.

Its Modern Day Slavery!! No matter how much you make, when you can't control your time its not worth it!!

That's how I see it.

If it's not a government job, you're merely under the mercy of the owner. Pray the owner has cool-headed children and wife/husband or even the owner too is cool-headed. May God bless us all to have our own businesses.

Answer = Yes.

However, not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur.

If you have a job which gives you true satisfaction in all aspects, then stick with it.
Do not quit your job because some random dude at a seminar said so. He probably
only makes any money from having those seminars, while he touts unverifiable "successful businesses"
he owns and runs.

Entrepreneurship is a lifestyle and not a job title. You have to be mentally wired as one.

Bottom line - if you hate your job, but can't afford to leave, then you're a slave to it.
