Life is life everywhere but Naija situation is simply terrible. Most homeless in US are exconvicts or people without residence permit and are therefore unemployable but in Naija, full fledged graduates are doing menial jobs. Talking about the postman, the west brought us internet and we quickly killed Nipost whereas they retained the post office considering the rate of its employment provision. America may not be heaven but believe me, after staying for couple of years, one will realize what it means for a country to be planned well. #teamLAforlife

Some people are just terrible. Why are u insulting the o.p?. Why are u acting like u no everything. I wish I could slap u guys. Not everybody know that there are places in America that look like this even though those places are still a bit better than our slums. The only reason why they seem better is because of the good roads, neat environment but it's still the same hustle and the same lack. That's a picture of a homeless man. A lot of people don't no there are homeless people in America. This post was meant to enlighten us and make people no that poverty and lack is not meant for a race nor a particular family. I am also surprised to see people bring out their wears almost blocking the side walk. We don't see this things in the news nor adverts. How many people watch movies?.

those homeless drug addicts on the streets don't have to be there. there are homeless shelters . there are subsidized housing and benefits . it's your problem if you want to be homeless and live your life on the streets.
if you watch music videos such as "another day in paradise" by Phil Collins you can see that homeless woman is shown .
if you read publication such as watchtower magazine or Time magazine , you can see that it shows the problems of the society.
you can even find all sorts of pics on the internet . won't they hide it if they didn't want you to see it ?
you can go on Google satellite and zoom across all the streets in America.

If people knew how hard things were in every society, u won't see Nigerians and other immigrants suffering in an unknown land mainly because their expectations were so high. Secondly it is very ok for people to see the other side of America or wherever for the same reasons I stated above. Nobody is immune to poverty and lack. 2. sometimes,the government deliberately do not build the ghetto buildings with glass and gardens because those ghettos are supposed to be temporary place of dwelling . they want you to strive for something better and not get too comfortable with the free ghetto housing and food stamps.
ghettos in germany,norway,sweden,australia,etc. look much better than the US because most whites live in those ghettos.
