APC and Igbokwe are not getting out of this one that easy. The request of Ndiigbo are lawful and a fundamental aspect of human rights. In the Nigeria constitution, it falls under "freedom to association,Freedom of Belief and Religion, Freedom of Opinion and Information, Right of Peaceful Assembly and Association and Right to Participate in Government and in Free Elections. Igbos have not been given their fair share in the day to day running of their Lagos State. Lagos is a City State created for all Nigerians and sustained by all Nigerians. Y is the government dominanted by a single ethnic group and not reflective of the multi-ethnic character of the state? This is the problem that was raised by the NCSN and must be address in the next dispensation of Government in Lagos. Lagos is a state and not a region, it is multi-ethnic and not homogeneous or solely yoruba and this multi-ethnic character must be reflected in the governance of the city state, for the sake of equity and all inclusive government. 40 Likes 1 Share |

After reading all these, where is the marginalization? Ndi Igbo group should please remind Jonathan to fulfil his promises to Igbos who massively voted for him in 2011. Our votes must not be insulted through decay of federal infrastructures in the southeast. 14 Likes 1 Share |

These people should always try to specifically address the attention seeking individuals or tiny groups involved in this whenever such an issue comes up. Stop lumping all Igbos into this nonsense. 99.99999999999999% of Igbos do not give a damn about their agitations. 33 Likes |

The Tinubu empire is aware of the numerical strength of Ndigbo that can cause a dangerous swing of political pendulum in favour of any party that has its interest at heart. 11 Likes |

If Ndigbo are being marginalized, it must be in particular places for I've never witnessed it in person. The Yorubas are very friendly and do not interfere. Except in maintaining a clean environment. Every 'Yoruba' we've ever lived around seem allergic to clean healthy environment and won't make contributions to make it better. At least the 'mallams' disposes our wastebins. But the 'Yorubas' 2 Likes |

berem:My friend this is a political issue, and should be handled meticulously to avoid its consequences. My Igbo brother Igbokwe is aware of it. Did you read the instances he gave as 'assumed' benevolence of the yorubas in his press statement? Go and reread the press release above and you will have more reasons to agree with me that the whole drama has a political undertone.
