I APOLOGIZE TO ASK BUT HOW OLD ARE YOU?

Do I look like your mate? Whenever these Agents of Corruption run out of ideas, they will start asking silly questions.

We have a very corrupt leadership under Jonathan and every Nigerian is asking for a better leadership, you are here insulting our sensibilities.

Vote out Jonathan before it becomes irredeemable.

MUST READ FOR ALL NIGERIANS: A
NIGERIAN YOUTH WRITES A LETTER TO
BUHARI
Posted by Charles Kalu
Gen.Muhammadu Buhari.
Sir, let us examine your service
records. I consider your generation
a very privileged one, indeed. In
1975 at the age of 33, you were
appointed the Military Governor of
the North-Eastern State, present day
Borno & Yobe states.
In 1976 at the age of 34 you became
the Minister for Petroleum and
Natural Resources. In 1978 at the
age of 36 you became the Chairman
of the Nigeria National Petroleum
Corporation (NNPC). Today the
reverse is the case. Most Nigerians
at age of 35 are still unemployed
and still living with parents. Many
are still not married. During your
time you were already Governor at
this age.
One major reason for this
unfortunate turn of events is that
many elders like you have refused
to voluntarily handover the baton to
the next generation. Life should be
a relay race where one runs his race
and hands over to the next. In
Nigeria many elders like you have
run their races and are still holding
on tenaciously to the baton.
But Sir, I have an important question
here for you. The question is simple,
MUST YOU SERVE NIGERIA AS A
PRESIDENT ONLY? IS THERE NO OTHER
CAPACITY YOU CAN SERVE US EXCEPT
THE PRESIDENCY? It is very erroneous
to imagine that you can only serve
Nigeria only in one capacity. During
the regime of late General Sani
Abacha, you accepted the
appointment to serve as the
Chairman of the then Petroleum
Trust Fund PTF.
The general opinion was that you
served faithfully in this capacity.
Well done Sir! But you never asked
Abacha to vacate office for you as
your former subordinate in the
army. Never! In fact that would have
been a dangerous move, if not
suicidal. Rather you served faithfully
under your former junior in the
army. Sir, imagine if you take on
another job like the Chairman of
EFCC or ICPC or NDLEA.
Nigerians actually need you to serve
in one of these capacities much
more than they need you in the
Presidency. Mere mentioning your
name as Chairman of EFCC would
drive many corrupt men
underground. But you wouldn’t .
Either the Presidency or nothing.
When are you going to handover to
the next person? It is either you do
it voluntarily or risk disgrace at the
polls. In 1983 at the age of 41, you
became the Head of State.
Most Nigerians in my age have not
had the opportunity to serve, but
we still remain committed to the
Nigerian project. You should rather
be graceful to God and to Nigerians
for the numerous opportunities that
have come your way to serve
Nigerians. Others are begging for
just one opportunity to serve. Sir,
you have to accept the stark reality
on ground that you have served
your time already.
That is life for you. You run the race,
you handover the baton for others
to run, you cannot hold on to the
baton more than is necessary. As a
former head of State you are already
a member of the Council of State
Meeting. You have every avenue to
channel your views across. You
don’t necessarily have to be in a
frontline role, you can serve in an
advisory capacity. That is still
service.
In conclusion, let me state that the
greatest beneficiary should you
emerge candidate of the APC would
be President Jonathan. It is crystal
clear that you cannot defeat
President Jonathan in a free, fair and
credible election, even in Katsina
State.
Sentiments aside, Jonathan would
cruise to a landslide victory should
you emerge candidate of the APC. In
fact many political analysts believe
that President Jonathan wants you
to emerge as the APC flag bearer in
order to secure a cheap victory. In
fairness to you, any of your Children
would pose a serious challenge to
Jonathan more than yourself.
I do not see Nigerians electing a 72
year old former Head of state to lead
us in this Digital era. With due
respect to you Sir, you belong to the
Analogue age and therefore, will
not fit in as president in this digital
era.
This is the blunt truth. Please do not
enter the Guinness book of world
records on a negative note. Losing
four consecutive Presidential
election would not augur well for
your reputation. It is in your best
interest to assume your position as
an elder statesman and allow others
to serve. Nigeria does not belong to
you alone. It belongs to us all. copy
and post on your wall let it go
round, is time we youth tell our self
the truth

The one whom Jonathan had to bail out when students of the state university rioted over water scarcity or someone else?

Don't you just love this president who acts as his role very well as the Father of the whole Nation

Unlike the daft pretending A-Looter old soldier who cancelled the Lagos metro rail over 30 years ago out of ethnocentric bigotry and jealousy!

The Association of Pretending Crooks, APC who did NOTHING to advance education in the North East state as governor some 40 years ago neither for the whole country as Head of State for two years. He obviously prefers to grow the numbers of almajiris to unleash on our youths on NATIONAL SERVICE when he predictably FAILS in his ill-prepared attempts to return as civilian president and match Obasanjo's record shocked

Only blind bats like himself will flock behind him shouting sai buhari like demented, depraved non-entities angry

hahahahahaha- lost soul, imagine thanking his handlers for doing or carrying out their responsibility, should the students have protested before they provided borehole water? moreso, the school in question is not a federal school- it is a state owned school, its not the responsibility of the federal government - its the responsibility of the state government, which means they are trying to bribe innocent young students, with what should in the first place, be the role of the government and their responsibility, well breeze don blow fowl yansh don open- and we are not interested in the thanking them/him for the right of the students - they should have channeled the money through the state government instead of heating the polity

Someone pls tell me why the PDP and their cohorts are trying to use blackmail to gain support? I think they are finally seeing the handwriting on the wall and they are getting desperate!!

After all the abuses and castigation they subjected Buhari to, they discovered that it is not working and now they want to try another method. The level of propanganda they are even playing is pathetic to say the least. This is capable of throwing the country into confusion and chaos.

Imagine such desperation to the extent that their paid online goons are now using Islamic cleric's picture that is readily available on the internet to create social media accounts, and then proceeding to making inciteful comments with those accounts just to get christians worked up and hateful of muslims. Is that not wicked and devilish?

With the level of desperation being displayed, it is getting obvious by the day, that the govt of Jona needs to be shown the door. And with this level of desperation, I wont be surprised if an independent investigation panel indicts GEJ's govt for this Boko Haram wahala.

And imagine this one, a dumb and talkative Minister (who had earlier undergone trial for murder) stating that he has told the IG and DSS to arrest people making certain comments, who does he think he is?? Someone pls enlighten me. Does a Minister have a command over the IG and DSS. The level of impunity in this administration seems to know no bounds. Very sad I must say.

Is a minister empowered by the constitution to act on behalf of the President or not? If he oversees the ministry, he can send a directive becausse he represents the President in that capacity.

Though I do not buy the Interim Govt claim but one can ask why such a thought crossed his mind if not because the Campaign Director of APC and APC chieftain (Sen Bola Tinubu) made an assertion to form a parallel government.

During the Osun state Governor's Inauguration, Tinubu ask Osun indigenes and other Nigerians to get their local guns, Cutlasses and Voodoos ready because it will be fire for fire. You can imagine if PDP by the next day also called on their supporters to get ready and the rest will be history and Chaos.

Sharksblow:
The Minister of Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan, on Monday, said a plot by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) to form an interim government has been uncovered.

The minister said this in Lagos at the launch of a book titled, ‘Watch the Watcher,’ written by an activist, Yinka Odumakin, in reaction to Obasanjo’s controversial book, ‘My Watch’.

Adesiyan said he had already directed the Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba; and the Department of State Service to arrest anybody that made inflammatory statements ahead of the 2015 elections.

He said, “Many of those in the APC are disgruntled PDP members who are no longer relevant and because they could not have their way, they have started to heat up the polity. They have said they will form a parallel government if they lose.

“I have already told the IG and the DSS to arrest anybody making such mutinous and inflammatory statements.”

Adesiyan said his suspicion was fuelled by a threat by the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, that the APC would form a parallel government if the 2015 general elections were rigged.

He added, “Obasanjo is already planning to install an interim government with Buhari. But we will vote and we will work with whoever wins the election.”

Adesiyan, who was detained in 2003 for the murder of the Minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ige, said the former President was vindictive and was fighting Jonathan because he (Jonathan) had refused to be used by him.

The minister, who was later freed over Ige’s murder, said Obasanjo picked Jonathan as the late President Umaru Yar’Adua’s running mate because he felt he could control him but his plans backfired.

The minister said, “He picked a President that was sick and while we were campaigning for the President, he (Yar’Adua) was always in Germany receiving treatment. While many were lobbying for the VP slot, Obasanjo picked a gentleman, Goodluck Jonathan, who had no strong political base so that he could control him.

“Unfortunately for Obasanjo, God had a better plan and Jonathan refused to be used. Obasanjo, being the man that he is, has now teamed up with Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar to snatch power but Tinubu will outsmart him because we Osun people are smart. Ask Tinubu, he is my brother, from my state. He is from Iragbiji while I am from Ode-Omu.”

The Director of Communications, Buhari Campaign Organisations, Dele Alake, said it was silly for anyone to say that Buhari was plotting the emergence of an interim government when Buhari was also participating in the presidential election.

He said, “It must have dawned on Nigerians that the PDP don’t have any answer to the multifarious problems plaguing Nigeria and that is why they have resorted to mudslinging and character assassination.

“If Buhari was planning an interim government, why would he be running for President in the first place? I think sanity has taken leave from them.

“Buhari remains the only viable solution to the quagmire that Nigeria has fallen into and it will take a disciplined person like Buhari to straighten things out.”

When contacted, a source close to Obasanjo, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said it was only the ex-president that could react to the allegation.

The source told our correspondent on the telephone, “It is only Baba that can react to the matter.”

The Nasarawa (in this case) state government was inefficient and incompetent.
They receive monthly allocation from the Federation Accounts based on Niger Delta oil revenue and are supposed to provide TAP water all over the state. They have not done that.

I am sure the states receive ETF funds as and when due, otherwise they have SINators and representaTHIEVES from the state to complain through as well as the Supreme court to drag the federal government, not so

Jonathan in his magnanimity bailed out the state government in this specific case.
That is COMMENDABLE!!!

You are failing to see the obvious - the federal govt is owing ministry salaries and the same federal government has cut considerably allocations going to the states- nasarawa state happens to be amongst the states with the only source of income being the dependence on the federal allocation- apart from this same present government that has started levying-collecting tenament rate along the abuja - keffi corridor which is the only source of income* for the state- they also don't have any factory because it is just recently they got connected to the national grid- this same state administration did that feat for them- they only had a substandard polytechnic - if not for the state government that has turned the same university premises into a small construction yard building hostels for the students- so the state government is working and it is doing so based on what is available to it, and looking at it critically - is it only boreholes and tap water that the state government should provide? What of education, what of roads, and enabling industrialization, so think about it again, have you seen the state government breakdown? I have because, like I use to say prior to me returning back to paid employment I was into contracting going to jos-nasarawa-kogi- niger- to hustle for contracts and vendorship, both with government. And private organisations, and before you take a ride in any direction you have to read the state budget to know what you are going for? Now the states don't receive ETF funds government and private organisation contribute to it, while the universities have been having problems assessing the funds because the bar has been to high for them to scale- now it's not the responsibility of senators to apportion the projects only to over see them* and specifically federal government projects that's why they would say they are doing oversight- and it's for the state legislators and not the federal senators* it's is not a commendable effort because it's meant to cause disaffection and distablize the efforts of the state government- haven't you heard of a minister going to give N20m to victims of a burnt market in bauchi "today" what of the people of bakassi that are selling themselves because government have not provided alternative sources of sustenance for them- see if you fail to look at all these things and choose to preach like a one verse pastor - you may not enter the kingdom of God O!

Re: Obasanjo, Buhari Planning Interim Govt —FG by lioncoolst(m): 11:55pm On Dec 30, 2014
