Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has said that President Goodluck Jonathan has done creditably well for the members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm by giving them unimaginable positions of responsibilities in the country since he took over the mantle of leadership.

He made the remark this while receiving members of the FCT Press Corps led by the Chairman, Mr. Sani Abubakar, who were at his official residence in Gwarinpa I District, Abuja to felicitate with him on the occasion of the 2014 Christmas celebration and also to congratulate him on the recent conferment of Honorary Doctorate degree by the Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State.

The Minister used the occasion to announce that President Goodluck Jonathan would early next year, precisely January 8, 2015 perform the ground breaking of the 10 Districts of the Abuja Land Swap Initiative to jump start development in those areas to bid farewell to Land Speculation, freezing and racketeering in the FCT, as well as drastically reducing housing deficit in the Territory in tune with the Transformation Agenda of the Federal Government.


He further announced that the FCT Administration has concluded arrangements for Mr. President to also officially flag-off the Multi-Billion-Naira Jabi Lake Resort, which is being executed under the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP).

Not everything should be Sai buhari or GEJ till 2019...commend or disapprove the project and leave the decision of who will be in power till 2019 to the voters...

How come they hardly find partners for productive/manufacturing ventures,
but they always find partners for leisure centers like Eko Atlantic City, shopping centers, etc?
A big Chinese steel maker just relocated a good portion of its production from China to South Africa. would it not be better news if this were a ground-breaking for a steel plant in nigeria?
