He had so much time and resources that he had to go and obtain an affidavit rather than write to the DHQ. Confused fellow I must say....

A former head of state and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 general elections, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), has explained why he did not submit his certificates and credentials to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), saying that the documents are with the military.

This came to light yesterday during a visit by journalists to the headquarters of INEC in Abuja where it was revealed that Buhari’s academic qualifications were not on display, unlike those of other presidential candidates including that of his main rival, President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Explaining the development in an affidavit he deposed to before an Abuja High Court, Buhari said that all his certificates were with the Secretary, Military Board. The affidavit was dated November 24, 2014 and was stamped and received by INEC on December 18, 2014.

Buhari had said in the affidavit, “I am the above-named person and deponent to this affidavit therein. All my academic qualifications documents as filled in my presidential form, President APC/001/2015, are currently with the Secretary, Military Board, as of the time of presenting this affidavit. Besides, His M.Sc was issued in USA , if he doesn't have the Original certificate yet, he'll probably have to request to have it sent to him in Nigeria and even that takes a while a certificate earned in the early 70tees may not be at the top of the school's drawer , Think well before making sentimental comments

This has become necessary. With all his millions in he bank, he must provide the #realthing, or go back to his farm and cows. We want to see his school cert. I was informed by an insider that he failed his exams, which is why he enrolled in the army. The constitution did not say army equivalent. We must vote for school dropouts and imbeciles. He may be a village champion in katsina, etc, but we want to see a 'good' candidate. It is not by force.

Abeg, INEC should just disqualify this man. Why tell lies? He should just declare that he has no certificate to tender. Is Military Comand not part of Nigeria? Has the said Military Comand refused to relinquish his certificates on his request? Beware! A man who tells lies can commit any other type of crime.

You don't need a degree certificate to contest for the presidency; school cert is enough. So why claim to have a certificate you can't present? I hate all liars! A liar will destroy Nigeria if voted into power.

He is saying that he do not need western education qualifications to be the president of Nigeria. You know. boko Haram.
Its time for INEC to act so that he would finally accuse INEC of victimising Nigerians in the name of western Education.

1. Due process will be followed
2. There will be no pulling of strings by the rich and famous
3. People are respected on equal basis as Nigerians
4. Where we all say no to indiscipline, stealing and corruption

Where are the photocopies of their certificates? They did not graduate last year so they can't claim their certificates were not yet ready.
