I just asked Nebuchadnezzar. If you remember, he was warned but he fail to heed the warning. Pharaoh was warned too, but he failed to heed the warning too. I agree that prophesy from God if fulfilled shows his omnipotency, but when God reveal evil things to one, He expect such to repent so the evil will be averted. Ask the people of Nineveh.
