Ui doesnt usually release 2nd list for de...but anitin is posible....y dont u cal d admision ofice

There was no exams. We bought jamb de form,chose ui as 1st choice and den submitted official transcript for nd,nce and degree. Alevel just submited olevel and alevel result. If u r applyin from a coe to faculty of edu u dont need to submit ur transcript. Ur statement of result is what is needed. After dat we waited for d sale of uis de form. Dis yr we paid in d bank and it was only one...so it was really stressful. Especially fordose dat stayfar away. Some pipl werent even aware of dis until it was late. My advice is dat u shuld try and join available watsapp grps so as to be uptodat on info....we all know information is power. Also one has to be careful in fillin dis form and also follow all instructions to d LETTER. Dis is whr disqualification starts. Also ensure ur transcript gets there as soon as possible to avoid late hr rush. Above all pray seriously for favour cos dat was what dis yrs admission was all abt. A lot of pipl werent admitted even wit deir distinctions. Im already missing a lot of friends dat i hoped to seeand study wit but i believe strongly dat God has a reason for everytin. I tink dat covers it all.

I'd like to know the steps it took for you to prepare for the A-level exams and your final score. This will enable me make proper decisions for next session.

I feel ( don't know if it's true) that UI gives preference to A-level result over degree certificate ( especially state university) when considering admission into a competitive program like medicine and surgery.

The undergraduate admission officer, or the registrar....d admission officer is more prefered by me sha. For d 2nd no....just ur transcript

Not at all...u shuld have seen some of d ones i asked. Well remember dat jamb will send ur details to ui. So dey just want to confirm if what jamb gave dem is correct...infact ur username is ur jamb reg no.

ok, these are the steps to take in direct entry application.

JAMB sells the DE application form, usually after UTME exams. You buy the form from JAMB, register it with JAMB and then submit submit the printout and required academic certificates and other credentials to the nearest JAMB office. In the course of filling the form, you'll be asked for your choice of institutions and course of study.

The next stage begins when the university you chose opens the students portal and requires that you register you details with them, usually after the payment of a nominal fee. And like Dearpiriye said, ensure you go to your previous institution and request that your transcript is sent to UI.

This is assuming you get to choose UI as your 1st choice. Different institutions have different requirements for DE. Some like UI don't take screening test and only access you based on your results and transcript. Some other universities like UNN take screening tests for their DE applicants.

Bit note that DE application has ended for the year. You'll have to wait for the 2016 application.

Well to an extent it is. What i did was to read as we all do....i started wit my notes and ensured i read and UNDERSTOOD ( emphasis on understood....cambridge tests ur understandin of wat u have been taught and not what is in ur textbook only as waec does). Wen i was well grounded in my notes i started to read d textbooks. I always asked questions not mindin dat i dnt usually do dat. Also have d mindset of makin A*s only. Wit hardwork and prayer d minimum u can fall to is a B. I had 1A* and 2As wich is 16pts. In nigeria A is given d highest point and datis 5pts,B-4, C-3,D-2,E-1,F-0. Den u get one extra point for not havin an F or U. U is ungraded....d person must have done too bad. For medicine aim 16pts....dat was dis yrs cutoff...got dat from someone....it is also d highest no of points one can get in nigeria. Above all divine favour is d key....wish u success in ur endeavours
