January 1st EPL Fixtures Predictions by doublezero7(m): 1:07pm On Jan 01, 2015
Stoke vs Man UTD:
Man UTD should win! They are on the back of wonderful results. LVG has returned stability to the team. Stoke aren't playing badly either, but when push comes to shove, United would pull through! Expect a good game from Juan Mata, Michael Carrick and the foward guys if selected. The forwards for Stoke would definitely trouble United's defenders. But David De Gea would be decisive again.
Prediction: 1-3

Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace
This should potentially be anybody's game. It might be worse for Palace considering the uncertainties as regards their manager. Aston Villa would do enough to pick up the win in front of their home fans though.
Prediction: 1-1

Hull vs Everton
Both teams are struggling at the moment. Everton's woeful season seems to continue with injuries to a number of their key players. Hull are desperately in need of the points too. So expect a moment of creativity from players of either teams to steal the win. It won't be a stroll in the park.
Prediction: 1-2

Liverpool vs Leicester
Liverpools season is beginning to pick up and you can bank on the team picking up a win at home. Raheem Sterling was fortunate to avoid being banned and he will be the teams main attacking threat alongside Lallana. Mignolet is back in the team which could possibly be the let down. Expect Leicester City to trouble the goal in a while.
Prediction: 3-1

Man City vs Sunderland
The champions have been ravaged by injury in the final third but have managed to pull througfh games. Except for the last match again Burnley. With Lampard staying till the end of the season, expect City to push Chelsea to the end of the season. Sunderland is capable of springing a surprise however. A draw would be their priority.
Prediction: 4-1

Newcastle vs Burnley
The post Alan Pardew-era has officially begun. A tough match between the two teams is in the offing. Newcastle recent home form should see them pull through with a decisive win. Cisse would be missed though.
Prediction: 2-0

QPR vs Swansea
QPR are desperate to remain in the EPL bearing in mind the disgrace of the last time they were relegated. Swansea would complicate things for them with Wilfred Bony the main man. Bony is expected to move away with Man City and Liverpool monitoring the situation.
Prediction: 2-1

Southampton vs Arsenal
The match of the day by all standards. Koeman's team would want to make a statement of intent by getting a win at home. Arsenal meanwhile, would want to keep the pressure for the top 4 up by getting a valuable win.
Prediction-2-2

West Ham vs West Brom
Big Sam's team are high on morale at the moment. The same cannot be said for the Baggies who are without a coach. The match would be won and lost in the midfield and attack positions. So expect fireworks from Upton park.
Prediction: 3-2

Tottenham vs Chelsea
Another contender for match of the day. Spurs would want to get the better of Mourinho's side in this one. However,it seems like a suicide mission. Expect Chelsea to get a win. If not, thank Hugo Lloris.
Prediction: 1-3

Thanks...
