On activation, OND graduates assume the rank of Corporal for army/Airforce and Able-rating for Navy. While non tradesmen (WAEC) assume the rank of Private for army, Aircraftman or Aircraftwoman for Airforce and Ordinary-Rating for Navy............. I was disqualified at kaduna during the last stage cos I was a corps member. The situation is not that hopeless in the country, I can testify to that. Keep trying, though there are some courses that they're in dare need.

Please gallants, I want to ask if I will be considered, because I have tribal marks on my tummy. Please, I need ur responses as I prepare my docs before the form comes out.

i dnt think tribal mark is an issue... In as much they recruited people with tribal marks on their faces.

Its nice seeing this thread.. I did follow similar thread sometimes back before I got commissioned. I did like to encourage u all to kip trying as far as u have d determination to serve the Nation via the army. Am sure u knw its not the best of time in the army but still better days are ahead.

I applied just once and made it in on DT occasion, certainly not all can have such testimony but its solely by Gods grace. If u are destined to wear the cameo sure u ll make it but if not no matter how long u try u wnt even if u make it in u ll still not get commissioned.

If u don't make it in its not d end just keep trying ur hands on the path to success sure u ll make it in life else where. I knw of 2 sitting Gov today DT were not selected and dey are doing far better than their mate in the military, only that no matter how successful u are been a military personel is an addition advantage and a security to ur family and friends.

2. Before the shortlisting of names, is there any exam the applicant writes? . If yes which areas/scope will someone should expect.
3. Like what's are the general trainings one will come across there.
4. I checked the entry requirements from NDA websites and they said "applicant will be recommended by at least 2 referee. LGA chairman/officer. Is it both of them or one because they said at least 2. Thanks as await answers.

2. The questions are general knowledge for the exams. The board interview is same but u ll also be questioned on your course of study.

You are very funny, unfortunately the army is not abt big chest any longer. It's about brain work, its abt technical ability, its about solving problems using dynamic reasoning.. Its abt endurance to unfriendly situation.
