lol.. baba, Not really. it depends on the Intellectual structure of the audience. If I am to present a poem to a group of aged men all living in a rural domain, between the age bracket of 60 - 100, Do you think I will make the poem tepid by using complex words of stark rarity? NO! I would consider my audience to be men on the precipice of senility and as such, use mild words to convey my thoughts. In the same vein, If I am to address A staff of professors and well seasoned men in the field of academia, I might exercise that liberty to use gargantuan words due to the perceived broad mental-capacity of my audience.
So, It depends on the psychological Skills of the writer or speaker to read his audience and know what best suits according to their Mental capacity.

In all, Communication should be the fulcrum of any Verbal trade, I guess that's the pillar on which your point rests. the ultimate!

Boss, I'm kinda getting mixed up about the way you use the word 'fulcrum'.. From my little knowledge in Physics, I know the fulcrum of a lever (simple machine) is the point at which it (the lever) turns..
Help me out with the meaning please.. 'Cause as soon as I saw the word, I thought the were gonna host a scissors or plier making seminar..

You keep hitting me with an answered question. I have given you my answer. I did it in Lagos, the Rigmaroles might vary according to states. 10k, Original birth certificate and 1 year wait is all you need. if it's May/June exam, Go back to your former school for rectification. But if the exam is Nov/Dec (G.C.E) , Then go directly to WAEC office and be ready to wait for 10 or 12 Months.

Grammar is a substantial body of knowledge where words can be used Denotatively or Connotatively.

The word "fulcrum" was used connotatively in that context to mean "the most important or essential aspect of something" . for example, If I say "Smith is the backbone of this thread" , the word backbone as used in that context means "you are the Pillar or strength of this thread".

I hope I have Broken all Doubts to Smithereens?
