Jonathan For 2015 "Even though I have said it time and time again that the president should control his wife but there is something significant about Mr. President. He is the first president without any ties to the military mafia. All his children are in schools here in Nigeria. You cannot come across a skyscraper in any corner of Nigeria and people will tell you it belongs to him; even a seven storey building. I strongly believe that GEJ is a phenomenal change from before and if we cannot find a better, young alternative, then we must remain with him until we can groom someone better. This is no time to go back to the military mafia and go back to our vomit" - Prof. Wole Soyinka 1 Like |

kendrick9: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/01/suspected-fulani-herdsmen-kill-25-kaduna-plateau/ Buhari is the president general of the MIYATTI ALLAH (fulani community whose stock in trade is to demolish peasant farmers livelihood in the name of grazing migration. If villagers/farmers should protest, they are visited with AK47 wielding death merchants who disappear into thin air as soon as the deed is done. Of course no one has been brought to book book because they have been emboldened by this born-to-rule mentality often displayed by their leaders who never find faults with them, after all, they own Nigeria while others are just mere water carriers. That is why Buhari could make such an unstatemanly speech to Governor Lam Adesina in Ibadan. ka ji kwo?) west africa http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/01/suspected-fulani-herdsmen-kill-25-kaduna-plateau/ It appears this is just the beginning as the chief sponsor of these evil fulani is foolishly considered for president of Nigeria. Nigerians are wholesomely asking for trouble from these fulani and I am 110% sure they will get it ! Just remember some of the previous threats, ie: (1) Murtala Nyako recently quoted as saying that "now the fulani can assemble an AK47 rifle, the equation is now ballanced". (2) Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Buhari, Sanusi Lamido, Kwankwaso and etc, all promising an escalation of violence if they do not regain "their political, economic and administrative control of Nigeria". I pity southerners who have suddenly found it fashionable to insult President Jonathan, soon , these same ingrates will be crushed under a brutal, senseless and undemocratic regime, controlled exclusively by these fula people from Guinea, and that would be the worst regime that Nigeria has even known. |

Am I missing something here? People keep saying Buhari is unlearned and as such would regard the educational sector less. I put it to you to tell me what Jonathan did to improve the educational sector. If you are quick to forget, I am not cos I could remember the number of times students had to stay at home because of incessant ASUU and ASUP strike. And that came from the so called learned person I hope you all are aware of the minimum percentage of a country's budget that UNESCO I think says should go into the educational sector? 25%, I doubt if half of this minimum is met. Let me remind you that it was agreed upon by the representatives of the ASUU and FG that the sum of #200b naira would be given for infrastructural development and to meet other attendant problems in our federal universities. Ask yourself how long it took the govt to disburse the said amount. That is even if it has been disbursed. Another question for you to ask yourself is, why now? Oh! Your guess is as good as mine. To garner votes. It has political undertone. Now ask yourself again, will someone who was in the four corners of a university, who knows the importance of education in nation building and empowerment politicise same? Hell not! So, does the so called learned person now give a Bleep about education? 3 Likes 1 Share |

alot of people will vote jonathan or Buhari simply because they're from their region. it sad & unfortunate, and this can only change when most of the populace are well educated enough to put patriotism before ethnic or religious sentiment. |

Perhaps, it makes sense to endure the frying pan if the only alternative available is the unbridled, naked fire.
