The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has tasked the All Progressives Congress (APC) to come out clean and explain to Nigerians, their connections with the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND).

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh in a statement on Wednesday said while the onus lies on the APC to choose those to work with in their quest for power, “the explanation has become necessary following the unsavory public reactions and concerns trailing the statement by MEND backing their Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari.

“What exactly does APC have in common with MEND? Why do they want to resurrect it? Nigerians want to know. Are we also expecting a similar statement from insurgents in the north, who initially named General Buhari to lead the dialogue between them and the Federal Government?

“Nigerians are indeed worried by these developments. We therefore urge the APC to come out clean and explain to the citizens what they have in common with these groups, especially given the statement by their flag bearer, after the 2011 elections, that the ‘dogs and baboons will all be soaked in blood”.

What if PDP goons really sent the email of MEND endorsing Mr.Buhari, thinking it will hurt him, only to see it backfire and create even more support for his Presidential ambition? Dont forget that these are the same PDP crooks that tried to register a rival APC and even sent fake emails of Boko Haram allegedly asking Buhari to become a "negotiator" in a supposed truce with the Federal Govt only for info to be revealed that the whole thing was a scam. Lets not also forget that GEJ claims to Know MEND "very well". So well, in fact, that when a bombing was carried out he exonerated them even when they claimed responsibility. Its also an open secret that GEJ finances militants from his own region, which in essence means he gladly and gleefully promotes terror on the same citizens he falsely swore to protect.
