Once again Gen Buhari(rtd) have displayed the characteristic of a Senile old man or an Individual with out of the world Demential Political ideologies when he called for the Abolition of the Office of the First Lady Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He merely succeded in showcasing himself publicly as a stark Illiterate or Senile oldman who is not in touch with modern reality of Governance. Buhari's arguement and His agents that the office of the First Lady is unconstitutional is not only laughable but Foolish but we can excuse His ignorance until the relevant authority concerned #BringBackBuhariCertificate

For clarity sake, i wish to educate Gen Buhari and His agents about how a Democratical state is being run and above all educate him on the Doctrine of necessity.

The Constitutions and Laws of Nigeria are not made in Heaven atleast Nigeria is not operating a Theocratic state but a Federal Democracy Hence there are many things that maynot be written down in black and white in the constitution but which as the situation arises can be for Public good and progress hence any Progressive sane Government can invoke this important Doctrine of necessity to address such situation. The office of the First Lady of Nigeria although not clearly written in black and white in the constitution is established using this Democratic Political Doctrine. Undeniably, The office have contributed immensely to the well being of Nigerians especailly women and children.

The Doctrine of Necessity is the basis on which extra-legal actions by state actors, which are designed to restore order, are found to be constitutional. The maxim on which the doctrine is based originated in the writings of the medieval jurist Henry de Bracton, and similar justifications for this kind of extra-legal action have been advanced by more recent legal authorities, including William Blackstone.
In modern times, the doctrine was first used in a controversial 1954 judgment in which Pakistani Chief Justice Muhammad Munir validated the extra-constitutional use of emergency powers by Governor General, Ghulam Mohammad. In his judgment, the Chief Justice cited Bracton's maxim, 'that which is otherwise not lawful is made lawful by necessity', thereby providing the label that would come to be attached to the judgment and the doctrine that it was establishing.
The Doctrine of Necessity has since been applied in a number of Commonwealthcountries, and in 2010 was invoked to justify extra-legal actions in Nigeria.

Rubbish! Maybe it makes a lotta sense in advanced democracies but with the way that so called "office" has been desecrated with impunity here, leaves a very sore taste. Try a referandum on it here & see what comes back. Who really needs a stupid office of some stoopid first lady?
