I must admit, hollywood movies have grown beyond the 'actor and boss' gun-blazing stereotypes we once knew. They are now mind stressing which is a good thing- they make you think. But there is a problem when these movies go from "mind stressing" to absolute confussion. I have watched some of such movies ( Matrix, Inception, Looper, Da vinci Code) and understood them with time. That is not the case with the movie "Predestination". Let me give you all a break down of the movie:
Girl becomes a guy in the future. Future girl (the
guy) goes back in time to her past (the girl), bleeps her and she gives birth to herself as a baby.

Damn awkward, Right ?
Have you being this confussed by any Hollywood movie(s) ?

Inception (though I understand but why go through all that risk just to plant an idea, why not kidnap the guy and force him instead?) then American Hustle; the storyline had so many intellectual twists it baffled me in the end.

I can't think of any movie as I understand everyone I watch. The trick is to watch it more than once. Infcat watch it as often as you can, then you'll understand it more.

I expected someone was gonna mention that. But the movie was actually simple and straightforward. It's like X-Men or any of the other sci-fi/super hero film.

I'll be more confused with HP or LOTR than Inception.

There's nothing wrong with pre-destination, it was nice and I enjoyed it. If you want to get confused, try watching CLOUD ATLAS.

I think our senses are wired differently.

I've never been able to finish the first of both HP and LOTR. Yet I've seen Midnight in Paris about a lot. And I know friends who can't stand Midnight in Paris but can see HP and LOTR over and over again.

Mine is also Inception ...cause at the end i still didnt know if he was still dreaming or in the real world.....cause the tin he use in knowing didnt drop.

then second is Dejavu....

Predestination - was mad.. I will need to watch it over and over again to understand it. I got lost in d middle his time travel.

Inception - in d end i didnt know if that was a dream or he was awake? I watched it twice before i understood the 1st level, 2nd level, 3rd Level of dreaming and the timing between them. Inception is a freakin brilliant movie.

Cloud Atlas - I no understand, i have seen it only once. I should watch it again soon sha.

Prometheus - dont understand. Saw it once. Couldnt be bothered cuz i didnt like it sha.

Coherence - Nice one. I understand & tink of d possibilities.

The Matrix - this is the movie i have watched the most in my life. I had to watch it up to a 100 times before i understand it.

There are others.. I cant remember but i wil com back & post when i do.
