Nigeria will play a friendly in the UAE against the
Ivory Coast on Sunday, with a team made up
predominantly from home-based players.
Daniel Amokachi will lead the ‘home-based’ Eagles
against Herve Renard's Ivory Coast, who are using
the game against Nigeria as an opportunity to
warm-up for next week’s Africa Cup Of Nations
finals in Equatorial Guinea.
Nigeria, who are the current African champions,
will not be there to defend their title.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 17h00
Nigerian time.

i tink nigeria played well considering our league is on break for over 2 months while d Ivorian
players are all in midseason in europe

Agreed, the Ivoriens weren't top notch, but was that really thr best of 165Million Nigerians?

Is AGBIM really the best goalie that the Nigerian Professional Football League can produce? The Ivoriens ran rings around the 'Super' Eagles, who were only happy stringing a few purposeless passes around from time to time...

That team was dead on arrival. We had better offload Keshi, Amokachi and all that squad. They've definitely arrived at their wits end. It is time for a CHANGE, either of the technical crew or the main Nigerian sport.

It might be time to focus on sports like Hockey or TableTennis, where our own Quadri just emerged the World Best Player in 2014 - something like Christiano Ronaldo winning the Balon D'Or in football...

the game plan was obvious ,which was choke d midfield and nigeria did it well.if u notice ivorians had 2yellow cards while we didnt hav any cards. d sour point of d match was our foreward line which was bad. i maintain if we had maybe emem eduok and Ahmed musa on d wings we wld hav defeated d ivorians. Nigerian had more corners to d ivorians tooo. ITS work in progress considering our league is on break and most of den are still resting compared to d Ivorians who are all in europe which is in its mid seadon.
