Former military ruler of Nigeria and APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, who has been labelled an Islamic fundamentalist was rumoured to have called for the introduction of ‘total’ Islamic law across the country.. To the Christians in the far North and other parts of the country, Buhari's name connotes Boko Haram and Islamic fundamentalism.
